Such striking single cover art. I hunted down and found/bought this 12-inch single in the wild much after its release. It’s nice to own something that looks as great as it sounds. It hasn’t any design credits but I’m assuming it was the work of Peter Saville. Jellybean is one of the remixers!

Cool! I know “Wake Up Everybody” from Nick Scotti’s cover of it. Listening to the original ’75 version now for probably the first time. I gotta say, Nick’s vocals almost match Teddy Pendergrass’ vocals one-for-one. “Don’t Leave Me This Way” is also on the album? I had no clue. Fixing that now. LOL

Ha ha! Most likely they weren’t. Their lead singer (Marti Pellow) did eventually leave the group, so that could have been the issue.
