I seem to be attracting these at the moment. In recent weeks I've had two different fellas in their 60s try chatting me up. ๐

Had ourselves a pool perv this morning in the pool. ๐ณ
Three times my foot and ankle was stroked as I swam past this dude. Once is accidental, three times is deliberate.
What a beautiful cat. โค๏ธ
Not finished it yet, but it's a very impressive first novel.
It's interesting to me that in several reviews I've read, they've focused on the unlikeable nature of the narrator. But, for me, much like "We need to talk about Kevin" it's giving honest voice to a lot of female (socially unacceptable) rage and loss of self.
Been reading Vladimir by Julia May Jones. I watched the netflix show with the excellent Rachel Weiz in, and it intrigued me enough to the read the book.
I'm enjoying it very much, it feels like a brutally honest portrayal of a woman in her 50s.
Cheers pal!
Am absolutely smashing it in the pool too. Faster, stronger and with a clear mind as I concentrate on breathing.
Been going to the gym a fair bit since the turn of the year. Desperately trying to maintain and build my muscle mass now I'm over 50.
Swimming 3-4 days per week and 1-2 weight sessions.
Today I got 80kg on the hack squat machine, and not just 1RM, but for reps (8 in total)
Feeling immense.
My neck of the woods.
Absolute banger of a soundtrack!
Black and white portrait shot of NPC character with extreme face and body modifications from the video game Cyberpunk 2077.
Chromed out of his goddamn mind!

Screenshot from the video game Cyberpunk 2077, featuring female character model posing with body turned away from camera, but her head looking into camera. She has two toned hair with pink roots and white blonde ends.
Low angle screenshot from the video game Cyberpunk 2077 featuring female character model in crouched position in a back alley with the city behind her.

Back in Night City. This time with a Corpo V.
Fully expecting to morph her into another disgusting clothes horse that I drive around the city and take pictures of her.

Pretty top!
In short...play Hunt Showdown!!
I'm conscious that any video I share from Hunt may come cross as sterile or static, but it really is the nexus of exceptional audio & visual cues combined with your own game sense, map knowledge and base shooting ability.
Admittedly a lucky headshot, but I know the angle perfectly from time served
Back in the Bayou, taking "that pixel just moved" shots with great success.
What a game! No other shooter comes close to the tension Hunt has IMO.

I know right?! I mean I'm not sure if I'm just seeing what I want to see, but loads of content on socials that say are you...? Or do you just have ADHD.
And each time I look at it and go...huh! That explains so much.
I keep seeing a tonne of stuff that is making me think I *might* have ADHD.
Like...huh! That makes sense. How the fuck have I got to 52 and it's only now that I've realised?
Ah, it's a shame I don't play PC cos I'd like to do a couple hunts with you guys.
You know I'm a big Hunt fan, it's defo got extraction shooter DNA, but it's so much more than that. I often feel like games are a puzzle, there's so much information and space to make decisions about what to do.
The shooting also absolutely demands that you master more than just being a good shot.
Everything seems so grey.
I don't have the words at all. I've never seen anyone so broken. The most devastating loss.
Had the most horrendous time lately.
Some friends of my husband and I lost their son suddenly a week ago. 26 years old, went to bed and just didn't wake up.
I can barely process my own sorrow at this let alone support my friends through it.
Their son was called Thomas, the same name as my own.
Oh hey, thanks! I'm really happy with it. It looks so cool on my bookshelf.
Oh I love a high contrast silhouette
100% she is so hilarious in it that I regularly re watch.
GOOD LORD, that looks delicious.
Happy New Year pals.
It is finished. Definitely tried my patience at the end, but overall it has been a very pleasant week building this. Plus I think it looks very pretty on my book shelf.
