@roxana-hadadi.bsky.social logged back on this website to thank you for suggesting to Kristen Kish that Bryan Voltaggio should be on The Traitors, such extremely For Me™️ content that did not go unnoticed!

get in and get out! it should've been so simple, and yet

Wanda showed exactly how rewarding it can be to watch a skilled comedian turn a presenting gig into a tight 5

Apatow showed exactly how hard and disastrous it is for anyone else to even try

Michelle Williams not even running away with the one category "Adolescence" can't compete in is absolutely wild

Exactly. I'm also retroactively irritated about how little attention was paid to Dying for Sex's (extremely nuanced!) storytelling about childhood sexual abuse. I had no idea it was even in there until I watched! A childhood crisis of a different kind than in "Adolescence," but no less urgent.

As "Adolescence" continues to sweep every Limited Series award out there, a moment of silence for "Dying for Sex," which told such complex stories so well that it blew me away on approx. a thousand different levels

On the one hand, a potential future of flattened, streaming-friendly mediocrity. On the other, a politically motivated family trying to take over the vast majority of news dissemination in this country and beyond. One may be bad, but the other seems.............................catastrophic

I Love LA Recap: Makes Me Just Wanna Drive An uncomfortable, flirty lunch with her former boss sends Maia into a spiral that traps Dylan and his school colleagues in a pseudo-sexual thriller.

For anyone watching and/or curious about "I Love LA," last night's excellent episode hit on all cylinders (even if I had to watch a solid third through my hands like it was a horror movie): www.vulture.com/article/i-lo...

Harlow's still here Fifty years ago, Harlow was the queen of Philadelphia nightlife, Jack Kelly’s girlfriend, and the city's most famous transgender woman. Today, she’s ready to tell her story.

Getting to know this legend has been one of the greatest joys of my life and I'm so pleased to introduce you to her with this gorgeous feature from the Inquirer, where she speaks for the first time in over 30 years on her incredible journey

A Fond Farewell After more than 200 years of sharing wit and wisdom, the 2026 Farmers' Almanac will be our last edition. But our story stays alive in you.

Do I, a Brooklyn-based freelancer, actually need a Farmer's Almanac? Well, no. Nevertheless, I mourn its demise as yet another sign of a reliable information source dying out www.farmersalmanac.com/fond-farewel...

Sure I could buy all my presents online, but then I wouldn't be able to hold up a bookstore line by seeing a 2026 Farmer's Almanac / rant about the UNACCEPTABLE DEATH of the Farmer's Almanac to the startled cashier / buy the 2026 Farmer's Almanac because it's (full circle incoming) sold out online

Post production is extremely complex -- every final version of a show is comprised of multiple elements. VFX, sound, color. If you're doing a massive transfer/remaster like this, PAY PEOPLE who understand how post works to supervise. You can't just cut and paste.

"How did this happen? Apparently, this wasn’t actually HBO Max’s fault — the streamer received incorrect files from Lionsgate Television, a source familiar with the exchange tells Vulture. Lionsgate is now in the process of getting HBO Max the correct files, and the episodes will be updated as soon as possible."

(one might argue that "fault" still does, in part, belong to the streamer that might not've double-checked the files for such a highly anticipated release, however:) lmao

Selling Zohran | Defector On a cool Sunday in November, a few days after Donald Trump’s re-election, Zohran Mamdani stood on a street corner in Jamaica, Queens, holding up a hastily drawn cardboard sign that read “DID YOU VOTE...

This is a really great reported piece on how the visual language of Zohran Mamdani's campaign developed (with a v satisfying side of, "fuck a focus group, we know what we want to say") @defector.com defector.com/selling-zohran

I Love LA Series-Premiere Recap: Sympathy Is a Knife It’s Maia’s birthday, and she’ll make up with her influencer bestie, Tallulah, if she wants to.

Wrote about Rachel Sennott's "I Love LA," which is gonna get comparisons to "Girls" but is probably Zillennial "Entourage." Discuss! www.vulture.com/article/i-lo...

Thank you so much to everyone who helped me reach my goal (/to anyone else who throws in more before the deadline)! So thrilled my first race will be in service of facilitating such crucial work in Gaza.

In my bid to rejoin the offline world, I've been teaching myself how to run, and it's been.....great?? Wild! To that end, I'm running a 5k this weekend, and am so close to hitting the goal if any of you would be so kind as to help this worthy cause: getinvolved.unrwausa.org/fundraiser/6...

Paying for news helps, but it’s usually not sufficient, because those outlets are still making decisions all the time about what to cover. If you’re subscribing but not reading, or if what you’re reading isn’t what made you subscribe to begin with, you’re creating incentives you don’t want followed.
