Attended RPS’s session on the Bray–Greystones Cliff Walk. 30 slopes were assessed; 7 are immediate risk. North (Bray) needs netting & sprayed concrete. South (Greystones) faces coastal landslides—only safe option is reroute. Funding is the next big hurdle. 🌊🚶♀️

Attended the first-ever SportAbility Day at the National Indoor Arena. A brilliant showcase of inclusive sport with “come & try” sessions in taekwondo, hockey & rugby, plus demos from Vision Sport, Special Olympics, Paralympics Ireland & more. #InclusiveSport
Heather Kinsella’s first exhibition Joy is now on at the Signal Arts Centre. The title says it all! Her use of colour really does bring a lift. The show runs until 18th September.

Met Catherine Connolly in Wicklow Town. Reminded me why I’m backing her for President. She listens, unites, and speaks up for people, especially those affected by the mother & baby homes, without dividing. Ireland needs leadership that finds common ground, not fuels fear.
Had a great day at the Tinahely Show – highlights included the Pets Corner, amazing local quilts, baking & crafts, trade stands, and the “Dog You’d Most Like to Take Home” (we guessed a rosette winner – a lovely labrador!). Great mix of community, fun & creativity.
Great to welcome members of the Dublin Historical Society (Dublin, CA) to Bray this week. A meaningful evening in Bray Town Hall with the Bray Cualann Historical Society, exploring shared history and building new connections. #Bray #DublinCA #HistoryExchange
Your voice can be heard. Solidarity with Palestine 🇵🇸

Visited The Sanctuary in Smithfield. A peaceful spot in the heart of Dublin. We're launching a pilot with ADHD Ireland + DFI to adapt the Warrior Programme for 10–14 y/o with ADHD. Excited to be part of it. More here: www.carolinewinstanley.ie/updates/oqqx...
Joined the Social Democrats demo by Rory Hearne. Avg rent in Ireland is now €2,000/month and govt wants to scrap rent caps? Total disaster. We need real action on housing. #HousingCrisis #RentCapsNow

Carer’s Allowance, DCA, and child maintenance will no longer count as income.
What great weather for canvassing 🌞 . Thanks to Thomas for joining me. The hot topic🔥 was the proposed Herbert Road Closure. It's great to reconnect with constituents.

Thanks to Mermaid & Bray Jazz Festival for the invite! 🎶 Francesco Turrisi Trio + Verneri Pohjola Quartet blew my mind — wild, unpredictable experimental jazz. At times it felt like an alien abduction 👽, with a drummer solo described as an adhder partying in the attic! 🥁 #BrayJazzFestival
Some therapeutic weeding at the Rewild Wicklow nursery. Growing native trees to be replanted back into local national parks.
Students from Würzburg + St Kilian’s wrapped up their Bray exchange with debates at Town Hall, tackling big issues like war + youth concerns across Europe. Great energy + connections built! Big shoutout to Maurice for chairing! 🌍👏 #YouthExchange #Bray #Würzburg

Spoke on the Declan Meehan Show (East Coast FM) about the Herbert Road junction closure. I support better public transport—but closing this junction will just shift congestion elsewhere. Ignoring public feedback isn’t consultation.
I was part of the advisory group behind DFI’s new Self Advocacy Toolkit—launched this week! 🙌
