Another oddity of Crimson Desert is that there's a substory regarding "Dreamer's Bliss", which is some kinda drug I presume, in Hernand. Its mentioned once I think in the regional quests and theres also a memory fragment near one of the manors that mentions it. Otherwise its never brought up.

Its not only because im using the character creator mod, but there really should be a barber in every city in CD. its crazy you have to wait until chapter 4 to unlock the only guy on the continent who can cut hair.

in CD, Yann and Duane's characterization feels completely flipped in the intro sequence. The rest of the game they both act essentially the opposite of that.

its just silly that they tried to capture the story writing of RDR or LoZ without having nearly close to that kind of industry portfolio. It sucks cuz some of the side stuff has a way more interesting foundation that could have benefitted from longer development.

on this its mostly cuz i want something like alternative start, or customizable characters. they lock you into playing Kliff and it just sucks lol like theres no interesting dynamic with being a Graymane, everyone already thinks youre a badass warrior. Nobody doubts your ability.

i think if Pearl Abyss came out with some kinda modding tool for Crimson Desert the game would be huge. The tools aready developed by users are pretty cool so we'll see what happens.

someone finally made a mod for Crimson Desert that adds more sockets for abyss gears to items. Unfortunately, it seems too buggy and it concerns me regarding my save file, so I'll leave it alone until it gets worked on a bit more.

adderall is so funny. i keep forgetting its the thing that makes me feel good, because i'll just be sitting here like "why am i happy? this is unusual."

i think one of the funniest parts of CD is that the easiest way to deal with a bear is to cut down a tree and beat them with it

The actual living space for the castle is complicated to get too, and is really, really empty, with some of the stuff clipping in weird areas. Theres also just some weirdness out in the areas surrounding the castle.

in CD, the entire Calphade subregion feels incomplete. Most of the commissions are fetch quest busy work, but in Calphade they have this weird tendancy to give you notes for it, which feels like from an earlier build before they did voice acting. The castle is mostly empty too, and so is the city.

i dont expect them to do this but it would be funny if Pearl Abyss just said in the dev blog "yeah guys we know the story is ass. we're trying to fix it"
