A successful hunt

A pinned specimen of a fly with red eyes, yellow-brown legs and mouthparts, body covered in tufts of grey and black setae, and striking brown-patterned wings.

This striking, fuzzy fly (Eudasys ophrys Whittington [Platystomatidae]) caught my attention when sorting a box of (largely unidentified) Diptera from Nigeria—never know what you'll in a collection! #PERCBugs #FlyFriday

Orchid

A series of doodles featuring various Balloon SMP characters - Normie McGee, Buggleboos, Socks, Skullvolver, Swindy, Val, Moth, Holly Hollowtoned, and Yoda. There are various full bodies, silly sketches, and more serious refs. For example, Buggle has two colored refs featuring his pre and post revival designs. There is also an uncolored sketch of a very wounded Buggle fleeing from monsters, a colored sketch of Normie with a lantern looking for Buggle, some colored sketches of Skull and Socks showcasing their complicated antagonistic relationship, some uncolored sketches of Val and Moth with BB Sampson, and a corner dedicated to Holly Hollowtones, including an uncolored sketch of her saying ‘Hit Me Back!’ And one of her laughing at Yodar saying Star War. In the upper central corner is a colored sketch of Swindy, with little moose horns.

What’s that? More #BalloonSMP doodles?? At 2 AM? Yes.. I finished it and immediately started rewatching the first VODs all over again, I love everyone in this insane story right from Day 1
