All in all, it was a great con. Definitely learned stuff, definitely figured out what to do better for my next adventures and my next convention. Gonna be heading into 2025 with some big plans, so keep about a fifth of an eye here, there’s cool stuff coming!

PAX was kind of a mixed bag for me this year. I had a great time, got to connect with some awesome people, and worked a table for the first time (and sold some of my own stuff!), but I also had a whole group decide to no show for a game session I was running, which put a damper on things on Sunday.

They’re the small parties(?) line from @justinsirois.bsky.social — Severed Books is the company. They’re awesome! I’ve been using them for all my portable set ups.

Day 2 of PAX is in the books! Ran an AWESOME #shadowdark session, and got to work the IGDN booth for the first and meet a bunch of amazing creators! Now for dinner, beers, and *sleep*

Always a fan of running in to people at conventions who’ve made a big difference in the way I run my games. I love getting to tell creators how much their work has meant to me.

Holy crap thanks for sharing this! I’ve been searching for a good hex tile kit forever and this never came up in my searches.

That looks slick! Mind if I ask where the image assets came from? I’m always trying to find a good hex tile set to use, and I haven’t managed to find one yet.

I can now say that I finished all my testing for my day job, so I can finally devote any time at all to creative purposes. I’ll be uploading my new shadowdark trifold later today, and I’m working on getting a blog going again so I can actually engage with the community.

In my country, it depends on how you structure your “company.” If you’re operating a sole proprietorship, which is to say it’s just you and you have a trade name, you’re not technically required to separate your money out (I still do cause I find it to be good practice)

It’s probably one of my most frequently revisited posts — I use the ideas in it all the time!
