✨ Taking time to be with God and stepping away from social media for the well-being of my spiritual and mental health. This will be my last post for 2025.
May you be well, find the peace of Jesus, and let joy pour into your life and love flow out from you. ✨
See you in 2026!

Spending more time and energy on self care and being in God’s creation and presence. A bicycle ride can become worship and meditation.

Today we held a lament service, lifting up our grief and hopes for our world, our nation, our church, our community and ourselves. Together, we find strength even in shared sorrow. #BeUMC

Community is vital to mental health. Church is more than a place of worship—it’s a community where we find support, belonging, and hope. #BeUMC #MentalHealthMatters

Our Sunday School is finishing up a 4 year study of the books that didn’t make the Bible including the Gnostic works. Fascinating!! I hope many will join in. Makes me appreciate the effort made in putting together the Bible so much more.
The Church is called to be a caring community where no one struggles alone. Mental health matters—and in Christ’s love, all people belong, are valued, and are supported. 💙 #MentalHealth #BeUMC #CommunityOfCare
We had our third Hike the Valley this summer. More and more, people are enjoying the outdoors and conversations together. They loved it so much we will have a Gratitude Hike in October.

We made our own sunshine yesterday by holding a fundraising dinner for a future warming center in MN. 180 ppl came and donated.
There are still good people in the world. Remember that.
We have a lot of work to do, but we can do it if we all work together.

Backyard cookout with a diverse neighborhood of people enjoying laughter and food together.
In Luke 14, Jesus noticed people in this world scrambling for the best seats. He flipped the script: no fighting for status, no shutting others out. Imagine a world where everyone has a place, immigrants, outsiders, the overlooked. Pull up a chair. #BeUMC

Sabbath is a gift, not a rule. Jesus invites us to pause and let Him restore our spirit. #PeaceInChrist #BeUMC
Jesus told His disciples, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” Your soul needs space to breathe. Make room today.

99 v 1: Why I’ll Always Go After the One
The ninety-nine aren’t abandoned. They’re safe on the hill.
But there’s one out there — bleeding in the thorns —
and love refuses to accept any loss as inevitable.

Hike The Valley Hike #2 was amazing. More challenging than the first and discussion was “Traveling with God on Life’s Journey”. Hills and valleys, muck and bridges. God is with us through it all. We even spotted Jesus on the trail.
