I stood outside in the sunshine today. It’s a random warm-ish sunny day in February. It won’t last, but it felt SO GOOD! ♥️

"Nice" is a lie. It is putting on a smile instead of saying what you feel. "Nice" is keeping up appearances. "Nice" is sparing feelings, not doing right.

No more hot takes. I only want slow, meandering takes, read over afternoon tea with a nap directly following. No more quick jabs at my nervous system. Leave me to the birds and leaves in the back yard for hours and let me reconnect with what’s important. The magic of aliveness. Of connection.

Heal quickly and well! I had a virus in mid December that took me out for the better part of three weeks. It wasn’t Covid, but it was pretty awful.
