Working Families Guarantee. A home you can afford; lower rents, mortgages and utility costs. Healthcare you can rely on; guranateed healthcare for all. A good job to support your family; a national jobs program to place workers in union jobs. Childcare when and were you need it; guaranteed low-cost childcare. We're launching the national Working Families Guarantee.

We can win a real agenda for working people — but only if we fight for it.

California Woman Is Arrested at LAX and Accused of Selling Weapons for Iran

It's instructive to see the NY Times regurgitating press releases with unproven legal claims, no matter how many times the (Trump) DOJ lies about people and loses in court.

I know nothing about this case, but everyone knows that Trump's team lies to please him.

Wealthy people try to get richer every day. They ask rich toadies in Congress to pass policies, tell police servants to crush racial/social justice movements, and instruct their media empires to demonize unions.

Make no mistake, they work hard every day for them to be richer and you to stay poor.

900lb crates full of onions in a field

The Coachella music festival is in the news with the minimum price of sold out 3-day ticket costing $549. Contrast that with "Nicolas" who is currently harvesting onions in the Coachella area and getting paid $22 for a $900lb crate. #WeFeedYou #coachella2026

We've all been asked to believe the extremely wealthy people in institutions like the Supreme Court aren't just rich people acting in their interest.

Noting they all work together to hurt the poor and protect their buddies makes you crazy, a conspiracy theorist.

What else would you call this?

Don't miss this part about Graville's ridiculous and sanctionable behavior. He certified he talked to opposing counsel before filing this motion.

When they called him out on it, he blamed staff for the filing, saying it was a clerical error. It's bad, even for the low quality of lawyering in Stl.

Any time you have the misimpression that awyers are smart, follow the rules, or even particularly good at what they do, think of Graville---and the rest of the mediocre white man lawyers in St. Louis. There's a reason the Trump administration is mining Missouri lawyers to staff its administration.

“They use solitary to remove people who are ‘contaminating’ the rest of the population or to isolate those who agree but don’t yet have the courage to speak up. Essentially, it’s a way to dismember a group that’s opposing them.“ @ccijustice.bsky.social

Comically, Graville expects people to believe he accidentally filed this 8 page, error filled motion. This is a joke on the level of a 3rd grader claiming the dog ate their homework.

Graville’s filing is exactly the kind of conduct that should draw scrutiny and possibly sanctions.

Graville's sanctions motion ignored the basic rules. Even though he was in violation of those rules, Graville signed the motion, claiming he followed them.

After being called out by ArchCity, Graville withdrew his ridiculous motion. Then the judge ordered his client to turn over the documents.

Graville calls routine discovery that he and his clients don't like “harassment,” “abusive,” and “intimidation.” This is in response to requests seeking budget records and testimony from the board president.

If that’s sanctionable, then civil procedure means nothing.

Chris Graville, representing the State Board of Police Commissioners, filed for sanctions bc ArchCity Defenders asked for documents and a deposition in a case challenging the St. Louis police takeover.

Graville is wrong. That’s not misconduct; just litigation.

Grateful for @tonymess.bsky.social

This is the post directly above yours on my timeline, and golly, it’s a mystery why the students are reluctant to be abused, arrested, expelled and more.

People who support what Trump and the bipartisan political consensus is doing in Palestine, Lebanon and Iran, and the criminalization of protesting against those policies:

Why aren't kids protesting Trump?

The gas lighting by NYT and these types of ppl is disgusting

Plus the same centrists offer no actual political vision that isn't just warmed over status quo. Nothing to actually fight FOR.

i thought they were trying to push a narrative that people weren't protesting for Gaza anymore, but the idea that kids aren't protesting in general is a wild claim. a kid just lost an eye in LA, and they're banning student walkouts in Tennessee

Opinion | Why Aren’t the Kids Out Protesting Against Trump?

Centrist dems aligned with republicans and MAGA fascists to criminalize virtually all protest, demonize "the groups," and attack anti-genocide protesters as antisemites.

Edsall gets to keep writing such hacky recycled columns precisely because he doesn't say this.

A cop died of a heart attack during a training exercise. St. Louis thinks that justifies a massive expenditure and waste of resources---not to mention towing and ticketing every car on the street.

The City won't help you when a tornado destroys your house, but they always have money for cops.

The US is the greatest purveyor of violence in the world. It was true when King said it 58 years ago, and it's still true today. If we followed the precedent set by the Nuremberg trials, Donald Trump and Joe Biden would hang for their role in genocide in Gaza.

Biden, Obama, and the Clintons were all silent as Trump threatened genocide against Iran.

Democratic party leaders weakly tweeted about Trump like they were powerless observers.

Party leadership kneecaps anyone calling for bolder action.

Beyond harm mitigation, they don't deserve your support.
