In case anyone ever wondered what my setup looks like!
NEW video is live! Let's debunk some myths surrounding Pixel phones, science style. https://youtu.be/r5dYfvsLKn4
Tomorrow's video is going to investigate a few things people think about Pixel phones...๐
Had brunch (and a quick stop for Johnny Doughnuts) with the king of Android yesterday! OK, he's not technically the king of Android, but @mishaalrahman.bsky.social might as well be!
Music hot take: You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) Is one of the best songs of the 1980s, unironically. Great writing, great vocals, strong hook, danceable beat. I said what I said. https://youtu.be/PGNiXGX2nLU?si=6S2_EaYQAcxkjqGe
It's truly disheartening to see trash like this get so many views. It's just AI slop, but people are eating it up.
Finally, us Pixel users have a selfie screen to get! ๐คฉ Buy the Insta360 Snap here (affiliate link): https://andauth.co/BuyInsta360SnapCSB
Yep, that's my assessment as well!
NEW video is live! Let's do a deep dive into the Google Pixel's new desktop mode. Spoiler alert: it needs some work ๐ซ https://youtu.be/uuiM9ifG7rc
Ah, I see. Sorry, but I never use the Google TV app, so I can't be much help here.
Are you describing using Cast to throw your downloaded videos to your Google TV? If so, I haven't faced any issues with that, but I admit that I don't do that often. I am usually casting YouTube or other streamed content, not downloaded stuff.
The video tomorrow will be on a topic a lot of you have been asking about...๐ฅ๏ธ
Yeah, but I can already tell the whole thing is just "roll roll roll, stab, roll roll, parry, roll roll stab stab." It's just not fun.
I just played 30 minutes of Elden Ring for the first time. I uninstalled it. I just don't understand FromSoftware's approach to combat controls. When you pair that with the game being punishingly difficult, I just don't have fun. I don't know, this is probably an "old man screaming at cloud" moment.
NEW video is live! Let's talk about why phones come out every year instead of every two years - which would be better for everyone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BitzjIds3Fs
I will admit that I've used it once or twice myself. However, I haven't used it enough to justify its existence. I would rather Google spend that production money elsewhere in the phone.
Here's what the Pixel 11 Pro will likely look like! I messed up yesterday by saying the Pixel 11 won't have a temperature sensor (the vanilla models never had it), but now I can absolve myself since this lacks the sensor! What do you think? Renders from @androidheadlines.bsky.social
Here's a first look at the Pixel 11! Not too many surprises here, as the phone looks very similar to past iterations, but with smaller bezels, a slightly different camera bar, and the removal of the temperature sensor. What do y'all think? Renders courtesy of @androidheadlines.bsky.social
Arrived at the airport this week and realized I had left my wallet behind! Thankfully I had my passport for ID, but no physical credit cards. Amazingly, it wasn't a problem at all. Everywhere accepted Google Pay! I absolutely cannot wait until physical wallets and passports are a thing of the past.
#scrolltilcat is my new favorite hashtag
If you feel like that was all time well spent, then that's all that matters!
NEW video is live! In this one, I talk about how I love phones. Yes, I know the trend right now is to hate phones, but I don't care: I love using my phone and never want to stop using it. https://youtu.be/czEMdquZCUQ
This is a great guess! You'll find out for sure tomorrow ๐
There's a new video coming tomorrow, and here's a little teaser ๐
AirDrop support is coming to the Galaxy S26 series! The rollout starts tomorrow in Korea and will come to the US later this week. It will work the same as it already does on Pixels: just use Quick Share to share with AirDrop natively (or vice versa). Does this make you want a Galaxy S26 phone more?
I have seen this before! This was such a cool collaboration. I also really love the version of AC/DC's "Back in Black" that they did with the frontman from Jet. That rocks.
First, thanks for subscribing! And I have listened to literally everything Muse has done. OoS is a top-ten albums of all time for me, and I've seen the band about 10 times. But the past four albums have just been cheese-fests. I just can't get into it.
This is my Muse trajectory: "This band sounds a lot like Radiohead." > "This band is awesome." > "This is literally my favorite band, holy shit." > "This album is a bit of a departure, but I can dig it." > "Oh no." > "What happened to Muse?" > "This is unlistenable." > "Muse is shit."
After 24 hours, you can sideload the app. You only need to do this ONCE on an Android device. In other words, do this once on a new Android phone, and then sideload without any major friction indefinitely. New device? You must repeat all the steps again. What do you think about these new steps? ๐งต5/5
