Planning a full scale multi game lan is actually really hard it turns out, but god am I having the most fun I’ve ever had in esports
In the long run gets nearly double the views of a twitch stream on average, because people come back to YT streams later to see what they missed and they do not for Twitch.
IPL has dual streamed for a couple years now and the YouTube side has been responsible for close to 100% of our orgs growth in that time. It gets lower views on our typical events (we built a twitch for 5 years first so not surprising), but gets more on majors and 1/2

This looks better but imo is still cluttered and doesn’t add much value
And tbh the top UI already shows things like which weapons are on which team, so all you really need is a score card that shows which team is which ink color. Nothing else really adds any value and just makes it more cluttered
Yeah this, players and the map is semi transparent, no big ass team names covering 1/5th of the screen, information displayed feels much more valuable and readable overall.
I don’t even like when the map is on the screen, at this level it’s just so cluttered and makes it even harder to tell what’s going on for normal people. Makes the game even less approachable for non Splatoon players
The year is 20pewpew. Kbot attempts to run TASL, but every weekend is taken by low level events. The meta has evolved to the point matches are decided by who charges armor first. Thankfully, that year never arrived Instead, the year is 20XX, and the new meta is here for all to see.
