I’ve been trying to intentionally be in more only queer or only femme or specifically alternative spaces to offset the fascism. It’s not really helping as much as I want it to because to no one’s surprise, queerness or kinkiness or political engagement doesn’t mean good disability politics.
I feel like my mind is really going through it between the religious trauma and the loss of democracy and trying to organize and stay employed and be productive and healthy while grieving everything at the same time and being disabled and also feeling like my life should be different.
