No one should ever feel unsafe in their own community. It’s a high standard, especially in a world where some choose harm, but it’s one worth fighting for. I’m grateful to play even a small role in helping us move closer to that goal.

Thousands of Tennesseans have relied on IVF to start their families, and now the state legislature wants to limit access to IVF and birth control. No one else should be in charge of when you start a family, it's a personal freedom we should all always have.
Today, we celebrate what it means to be presidential, and what it means to display courage and leadership even when the right thing is not the easy thing to do. May we all remember and respect the courage true leadership requires.
