Anyway, I have applied for the gala license, and WA State LCB customer service continues to be genuinely helpful and pleasant.
Every workday for a YEAR this woman is telling people to just fill in their UBI with 0s. She was so happy I was nice about it, so I told her about the registration program I used to work with where the "solution" to divorced parents paying for kid classes was "share an account."

Me: Thank you! Also, it says the addresses I've inputted are invalid?

Me: I'm trying to apply for this license and it says my UBI should be 16 digits but the UBI I have is only 9 digits?

Libby is attached to particular library cards, and none of the (several) libraries I have cards to have them. Given that most of them were published decades before ebooks were a thing, I get it 😂
Oof I have a hankering to re-read some classic Star Trek novelizations, but none of them seem to be available in ebook form from my library (understandable) so I'm gonna have to track down mass-market paperbacks somewhere.
