Currency outside of a nation's control, so no tax. Very on brand.

It kills me how actually decent and incredibly talented people who contribute so much to society and their communities struggle to find work, while the worst people to ever breathe who demonstrate incompetence several times daily, remain gainfully employed. some at the highest levels of government

He doesn't care, he's enriching himself and his family to the tune of billions right now. The future is not his concern.

Dear Daily Mail, It takes a minimum of three years to build a frigate, and probably more like 5. The current lot have been in place for 20 months. Can you see the problem?

Oh, and the biggest part of the benefits bill? Your readers – the over 80s.

Populism is a fundamentally dishonest form of politics, that attracts fundamentally dishonest people.

It is a tissue of lies that validates the darkest prejudices, and covers up the most blatant greed and corruption.

It generates wealth for the few, and suffering for the many.

The idea that the President of the United States could publish an image of himself as the Messiah and no news outlet covers it is the biggest indictment of the American free press.

That's not even mentioning the hard cut off earnings limit which was £50 p/w for years and years until it was changed to match the lower earnings limit for NI.

CA was set up originally to "compensate" men who had to give up work to look after a disabled person. After an equality court case it was extended to women, and (obviously) exploded. It has never been properly funded or promoted as a benefit for carers. Hence the mess it is now.

Can you imagine the Prime Minister Keir Starmer turning up on a doorstep to hand free energy to a household for a year and then it turns out they’ve supported the Labour Party for years and met him several times?

Well that’s what Nigel Farage did and he wants to be the next PM?

Media, anything?

Can everyone please stop excusing the US president by saying that he has dementia.

He's always been like this. It's not dementia. He's a deluded, arrogant, nepo baby, chock full of Dunning Kruger degrees of self-belief and deep rooted stupidity and rich and influential enough to get away with it

Ultimately they buy yachts and islands, where they can be king, and some of the crazier ones build bunkers for the apocalypse only they are entitled to survive.

This. Old rich white men want more power than they already have to bully and ostracise anyone who isn't an old, rich, white man. The nationalist/country in question is irrelevant to them except as a means to an end, which is why they get out of there asap to avoid being taxed.

The reason for the screens is to save money on the design and manufacture of physical buttons and their holders. However it gives idiots who know nothing about UX carte blanche to do stupid stuff like needing a menu for wipers or just to move a vent slightly.

Trump is just the symptom.

Christian fundamentalists & billionaires put Trump in office.

Billionaire for no taxes & fundamentalists against abortion & gays etc.

Religious dead-letter-literal-interpretation of the bible

& materialistic greed of billionaires/Wall Street
put Trump in office.
