well, it's written in C++ (our tools are written in C# though), writing something like this in Rust is almost impossible due to our EXCESSIVE usage of Templates and Concepts, which saves us from writing literally thousands of lines

It's not based on Wine, but yeah our UWP support code can be adapted to run general UWP apps on Linux
The UWP compatibility code that we wrote for Wine is currently specialized only for running Xbox ERA games, it can be adapted to run generic UWP games but that's out of project's scope, the community can pick up the code and adapt it for that once we open source though
