I’ve been a lot of places in the last ten years and the people in Wisconsin are the nicest.

Thank you @massgovernor.bsky.social . I am taking 13 different flights in the next month for my job and I feel better protected with my Covid and flu shots!

Made it up to Bar Harbor Maine. Walked across the sand bar to Bar Island during low tide and had a spectacular lobster roll with an equally spectacular view.

Today I actually finished an entire notebook and I feel like that means I get to go buy several more to replace it because I proved I will use them.

Visiting the home office this week and it was too nice tonight to stay in the hotel so I headed to Fire Island and walked the trail to the lighthouse. The deer there are fearless. They must be an absolute menace.

My laptop died, and I was immediately humbled by a 21 year old Geek Squad employee when I brought it in. I have secured a new laptop, but was humbled again by the powerful new webcam. This is what getting older means.

Went to the stunning carousel bar last night. It actually spins! Each chair was painted with a different animal and in 30 minutes we did 2 full rotations. It was a really fun experience, and the cocktails were great too!

New Orleans day two featured a cooking class at the New Orleans School of cooking where we made gumbo, blackened fish amandine with pecan rice, and bananas foster! It was so fun and so delicious.

I saw Rule Breakers in a theater tonight, inspired by the true story of the Afghanistan women’s robotics team. It was a great movie and I hope lots of people see it and feel its various messages. It would be great for math/science classes to see but it’s so much more than a STEM story.
