Walking away can mean endorsing yourself and lead to new beginnings.
Looking forward to reading what the women in this collection co-authored by my friend and fellow scribe Sally J Clarke have to say.

Different strokes... I've lived in Boston, Brussels Paris and Rome my metropolis days are done. I love the Italian countryside around Lago di Bracciano, the creative side of me thrives, no withering going on here.
Anyhow best of luck to you in finding what you're looking for.

Have you thought of looking outside Rome?
Rents in Bassano Romano are a quarter of the price in Rome.

It is publication today for Late Heaney I am told, although I imagine it’ll be a while before I see it between ice storms and the broad Atlantic. I thought I’d share a few thoughts about it, as it’s a different kind of book for me in form and style.

Gone Rogue: Israel, Iran, and the Limits of International Law Israel’s warmongering has demonstrated the West's unwillingness to hold Israel and its leadership to account. The consequences for millions of Iranians could be dire.

Quanto mi piace leggere in giardino. Ma non ci sono più i giardini in Gaza. E indefendible, Israele. Come dice la poesia di Paolo.
Bravo Paolo Di Mizio per questo libro per la Palestina.

What absolute joy when your friend's book arrives in the post and is now on your reading table.
Having read the earlier versions of your travels, I can't wait to read the final version.
Congratulations, Rachel.
Love to you and all your family.

Primavera on the hilltop.

I had to walk past the swings. The fourth swing was still as if someone were sitting on it. The others thumped up and down and into each other. As I approached the fourth one, it flew up like someone or something had jumped off. My muscles tense. I'm a pounding, shrieking, running mess. #WriteCBC

Abstract painting with a band blue sandwiched between two bands of golden yellow, the top one thick and the bottom one much thinner. The borders between the colors are rough.

Dear Amazon Italy,
Thank you for suggesting I buy a copy of my own book.
Although it is worth every penny, it's a tad too expensive.
