Oh Michigan....Saturday night i stood in the rain outside comfortably in a sleeveless dress chatting at the bar. Yesterday I was comfortable in a fall dress and jacket. Today? Snow.

SO Great...My homeowner insurance will go up $1000 for the next year, I just discovered. Why, I asked.... just guess. "The tarriffs will increase the cost of a repair or rebuild". Tell me again we won't be hit with the tarriffs.... I'm about to be taxed and insured right out of my home.

Thanksgiving reminder #2. Just enjoy your meal. I remember being 12, and starving myself all day to save my 1200 calories all for the Thanksgiving meal. I then exercise to exhaustion the next day. Every year thereafter too, until my 30s. For nothing. Don't be like 12-29 year old me.

As we approach Thanksgiving, remember: you do not owe anyone your presence. There is no reason to attend any event at which you will be made to feel dehumanized or harassed. Just say no, stay home, and build a new tradition. No matter WHO they are.

Baby AsherCat is 14 weeks old on Sunday, and is over 4 lbs already! He's a huge baby who makes raccoon noises and is the mostblovey baby one could hope for. The naughtiness though....so naughty.
