I'm not sure I'm parsing right myself, but I did work at the Uptown for about 25 years and was in it all hours day or night, down in the tunnels, shot a horror movie there, etc etc so I can attest the Uptown is most definitely not haunted.

It is colossally unfair that this space gets to be haunted while the Uptown Theatre decidedly is not. I mean an usher died there as the inside guy on a botched robbery attempt and he lived at the same address that I did when we discovered those newspaper clippings and wait am I a ghost

Watching the MST3K short "Young Man's Fancy" and apparently this advertisement for the idea of electric appliances(?) has better staging and world building than anything I've seen out of Hollywood recently.
