And of course it’s also a white Tesla..

The dude is like 81, can we please get more people who are not already eligible for OAS to run for office.
This was probably one CPC member that the Liberal's should have said thanks but no thanks to.
During the pandemic she was an out spoken anti-vaxxer and has been pushed conservative Christian talking points on conversion therapy and wanting December to be "Christian heritage month"
Yes, because.. *checks notes* a trans woman in the US has a shit ton of political leverage in this current environment.
Do me a favor and get rid of "ally" in your bio because you ain't it.
Other than my parents, I've had home delivery in only one other home I've lived in.
Other than the old community mailboxes that were horrifically insecure, they've been great.
I didn't realize it until today, but the Heated Rivalry memes have ruined Green Day's Brain Stew for me.
I can no longer listen to the intro of the song with out going "Girl" in my brain during the opening rift.
I can't say I ever felt underserved by the combined detachments, but understand the general feeling and political pressure. Hopefully it says on budget.
Also, explains the few PCs I saw with 'PK' prefix, I suppose 'PM' is still used by Port Mann Highway Patrol.

And the search continues for something that can't run doom...
Bluesky is kind of a metaphor for tech. I feel like everyone is on a similar page about what product they want (Twitter, but without the fascism). Bsky is just like "best I can do is blockchain and AI". Also pretty sure the entire market for ATProto is like 3 people, and 8 of them work for Bluesky.
And they wonder why their attempt to power grab with judicial appointments is so heavily criticized.
There is a concentrated and concerted effort in AB to suppress the "wrongthink" in the province through legislation. A teacher speaking disparaging about conservatives, bad; but the opposite is ok.
"Free Speech", but only for speech they agree with. Otherwise they need to legislate that speech and in act the not withstanding clause since they can't debate in good faith.

TIL there's Tim Hortons in Korea.
I keep hoping that things will eventually improve for us as a society, and I say that as I live in probably in one of the best areas to be trans.
It's not without it's challenges but at least my government has not yet been actively hostile, though I can't say the same for their opposition.
Image of myself from 2016 just before I stated my transition and a photo of me from last year at a local drag show.
It’s trans day of visibility today. I’ve never been one that wanted to be visible.
It’s been almost 10 years since I started my transition, and while I’m not exactly where I want to be I’m far better than where I started.
Clear national standards are needed as a response to exclusionary sport policies gathering steam in women’s sport.

It is a very sad day for human rights when youth have to live in fear and are pushed back into the closet by the UCP government’s discriminatory and hateful laws.
We will continue to fight to have them repealed or struck down.

The BC NDP's only saving grace is that the BC Cons is a horrific amalgamation of the center-right and far right, where the far right control pulls the strings and the center-right tries to be the face of the party and neither trust or believe in the other.
Curb weight of the 1992 Ranger 4x4 Supercab XLT was around 3200lbs, the Tacoma is just under 4500 for the TRD Off Road I have.
I found some old pictures, and made a comment about my ‘23 Tacoma being more than 1000lbs heavier than my ‘92 Ranger, as well as 1‘ wider and 2’ longer.
I agree with the Olympic Charter Fundamental Principles of Olympism number 4; "The practice of sport is a human right".
I know 3 trans women that play soccer, myself included. There are not enough trans women to form even one team. As it is my team has trouble even fielding a full team sometimes.
I'm thankful the women's soccer league I play in for fall and spring is trans inclusive; however, as I learned last year many weekend tournaments are not.
I play at a "masters" level, its 30+ year old women, there's no slide tackling but still 11 aside and 45 min half's on a full pitch.
Ultimately while there's been 1 trans woman who's qualified and competed at the Olympics this will impact cis women.
It will also trickle down to recreational sports and could cause potential issues for both trans and cis women just wanting to have fun in sports.
I live in BC and work for a company based in Quebec. They offer free French classes and I've been happily taking them for the past few years.
I'm no way bilingual, but damn well could terribly speak a pre-written message in French.
Thank you for listening, so I don't have to.
People keep saying “oh so you want OPEN BORDERS” as some kind of gotcha and like. Yeah. When I was a kid you could just drive into Canada. On accident, even. It was great, and I think we should do that instead of kidnapping children. Normalize being normal instead of being kidnapping weirdos
Can’t wait for the Chilliwack MLA to try to justify why she continues to support such vile legislation to even be introduced for debate.
Isn't this why we got the banana for scale? People will go so far out of their way to not measure things.
I totally forgot about this banger from the disgraced former trustee.
Though I'm pretty sure it's standard across all Canadian Conservative thought leaders.
I forgot about that…. 🤮
Another one.... ffs.
Would be nice if the social conservatives had some platform other than the culture war.
