Earth Day is one of my favorite holidays, I didn't have to provide candy from "Smoky Bear" or "Woodsy the Owl", it's about reducing pollution and not starting forest fires.
And I tend to recycle this joke each year.
I'm not beating the "Culturally NoVA" allegations tonight if I post, am I?
There was a guy on DC-area sports talk radio in the 90s who used to talk about "woof tickets", these are not of that variety. Unless one's canine has some takes they need to express at the ballpark.
Let's get some players for our fundraiser quiz bowl tournament for Shutdown Fullcast's Charity Bowl. iqbtnasat.com/open-online-...

Okay, I'm impressed at the arena presentation in San Antonio, they mixed in the giveaway t-shirts to match the decorated court and it works.
Casting call ad for what appears to be an alternate universe where Xavier McDaniel, Detlef Schrempf, Gary Payton, and your other favorite Seattle Supersonics played in Oklahoma City starting in 1979.
IYKYK what's off with this picture:
Downtown GVSU campus for sure
This needs the "SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY" treatment, but with NPR stock announcer voice.
Not the worst 4th quarter in the history of Atlanta sports by any stretch of the imagination but this got away from the Hawks quickly.
Bring back the Boston Rags (of the typical team color scheme)
And Carolina gets possession off a foot violation and scores the winner after giving up a 4-goal lead in the last 6 minutes. Meanwhile, ND beat Duke, which should get UVa into the conference tournament.
OVERTIME imminent, equalizer with 1 second left
Hoos mlax back within 1 at 14-15, enough time to complete the rally?
Long haired middle aged guy wearing a blue shirt after doing a 5k, holding up the race medallion trinket given to participants. The medallion matches the design on the race T-shirt, a picture of Bob Ross painting green trees and brown mountains with arcvs of yellow red and orange at the top center
Back home and warming up after I did the Happy Little Virtual 5K #runforthetrees
The first line of this video is:
"I'm suing my neighbors because they cut down twenty trees on my property..."
That sound you heard was very lawyer going "ohhhhhh shit...:
Is there something about conservative talk radio beyond the political stances that has been honed in a way to not appeal to me? Again, beyond politics, just the tone and delivery of the hosts and the callers. Not even one specific host either, just 5 random minutes on a random regional station.
It's Iowa, so you wouldn't be working with me unless I moved, but I enjoy seeing postings like this where I can point to a position that essentially says that you can have a degree in history and work on infrastructure:

Gotta get the dad jokes in while I still can, my son and I were driving and "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" comes on the radio. Son asks me if I've ever seen the rain, and I reply with "I've seen fire and I've seen rain, but that's a completely different song".
Great song, and still fewer questions about it as a walkup song than when my regional Texas Roadhouse used it as a staff line dance song.
Score one for the Beisbolcats.
So between that, the Mets Season of Grimace, and Ray Kroc straight-up owning the Padres, we have a pattern that suggests that Mickey Ds mojo has an NL bias.
Trying to help, one by not planning on retiring for another 20 years, also, we're using a program that allows our engineering review to be immediately available to the planning department, so they revisions and requirements to developers more promptly:

My account? Less Op, more Ops and Maintenance-adjacent.
Have days when I miss quizbowl practice, not so much for the feeling of answering questions or even coaching, just more to try out new moderating cadences, maybe work on switching up my voice on practice sets to keep things loose.
