best city in australia
earth really hit me with insomnia worse depression and my whole body being sore for idk being a loser or something
if I feel as shit as I have the last couple of days on my birthday I am not gonna be happy
that time of the whatever again where i try to get into conlanging again and immediately give up after like 2 days as per usual
I bring a sort of Forbidden Vibe to InternalServerError that Rate Limit Exceeded don't really like
trying to post through it rn
Cancel Reply Forbidden Jay Bluesky is made with Al, the engineers and even some non-engineers use Claude code Can you ask them to stop?
Asking the forbidden question
I don't know if you know the context but orc lore is fucking WILD lmao
holy shit we're gonna get to witness the Boethiah-Trinimac vore scene
yeah...
it's a couple of months until its 8 years since that teaser came out, and it'll probably be over 10 by the time the game actually comes out
-set after Skyrim
-in either Hammerfell, High Rock or both (I would be happy but utterly shocked if any of the more unique provinces got a full modern game)
-Aldmeri Dominion will probably be involved unless things happened offscreen, since they're still fighting as of Skyrim
it's really hard to guess things honestly, it's been 14 years since the last mainline TES game so who knows, and the fact there is fuck all official news on the game itself makes it harder
I'm hoping it's good enough for me to enjoy it, but I'm not optimistic that it actually will be
you know like the average dunmer on vvardenfell
by hostile I mean bitchy but they don't outright try to kill you or at least I haven't found any or done a quest where one wants to kill you they're just very "ugh, OUTSIDER"
all my love for the elder scrolls, all the scrounging for lore and reading I've done and I've only explored a fraction of it
remember if that's a special thing for them or if other Wyrd covens can do it)
the two main ones I remember are the Beldama, who you find in Glenumbra in ESO, they're a lot more chill about things
and then there's the Glenmoril who you find in Bangkorai and I think some other places, they worship Hircine and are a lot more hostile (they can also shapechange but I don't
basically women-only druidic witch covens that protect nature, they originate I think from a schism within the old druids of Galen where they wanted to cut themselves off from civilisation and cities and such and live entirely within the wilderness
Also mentioned in the Altmeri pantheon in varieties of faith but not as important to them, Y'ffre is to the Bosmer like Auri-El is to the Altmer, the number one
Y'ffre was one of the Ehlnofey who became the Earthbones, probably best known for creating the Green Pact with the Bosmer, but there's also worship or at least acknowledgement amongst the Bretons because of their history with the Wyrd and the druidic circles
I know people joke about the Bretons being basically just medieval Europeans but also half elves but they have some really interesting lore with the Wyrd and the druids of Galen, and yeah I'll be honest I'm just a fan of typical fantasy knights and wizards and that's also part of it but they're cool
also if we have High Rock and Y'ffre and Magnus aren't mentioned I'm going to fucking throw hands
I feel like you could write an interesting dynamic based on likeโฆ the Nords being proud of their culture that has been almost entirely Cyrodilized without most of them noticing. How do real rural nords feel about the fact that Windhelm nords shout their slogans whilst being basically Cyrodils?
yeah like I wouldn't mind it as much if they actually did something with it :p
honestly even if they kept like the Imperial stained glass and just had the Nordic names still I'd have liked that, the depictions have evolved since the merethic era but they still have their own traditions and names for things
I'm not counting Alduin because Skyrim Alduin and old lore Alduin are pretty different and noone in Skyrim actually worships him in place of Akatosh when he's the Nordic incarnation of Akatosh as per Varieties of Faith
also it still annoys me how imperialised the divines are in Skyrim :p aside from Kynareth being mentioned as Kyne, Shor being mentioned, and Tsun existing
can't wait for TES VI: Hammerfell and all the divines are Imperial, no Ruptga, Satakal, Tu'whacca or anyone else
something something dragons extinct until Alduin shows up
nah those fuckers just fly around the imperial city for fun
"something something Markarth dwarven ruins"
no they're Direnni in this timeline
