I will *happily* head to a slower charger when the need to nap hits in an EV—like, hell yeah, let me nod off in your well-lit dealership lot, park, or whatever—but I need to know that my doors are going to stay locked and the HVAC will stay on, goshdarnit.

You know what doesn't do me dirty if I have to nap? A key. A real key. An insert-and-turn key.

Something I realized today thanks to my dumb sleep disorder: wow, cars that just turn off and on by proximity suck!!!

When my hypersomnia hits, I need to find a safe place to pull over, lock the car from inside, leave the HVAC on and nap. Give me a lock button and more than an hour-timer to nap.
