i watched freddy got fingered recently. AWESOMEEE!

idk theres just a million ways i would mess with minecraft's progression. i'd love to not be able to craft any high quality tools and needing to loot them. idk. i daydream of changing that game to be more in my own image. we are all gods in the eyes of minecraft.

also gold tools should provide silk touch automatically. access to some stuff (ICE) should not be locked behind getting lucky either in loot or an enchant table.

i played a mod last year that made it necessary by reducing the amount of iron you get from ore and also requiring you to upgrade copper to iron, just like how you upgrade diamond to netherite in a smithing table. enjoyed that a lot. made the early progression a LOT longer.

unrelated i think minecraft would be interesting if iron wasn't an ore so you actively had to loot for it, it would make copper interesting and iron more of a way of accessing more ore instead of as your commonplace tool. turns copper into what iron was except in progression

Took setup to make happen, and it obv didn’t work with multiple targets, so it wasn’t a perfect infinite. But ohhh my.

Incredible Slay 2 run. Whistle (~30 damage, stuns for the turn), took exhaust off it, and played it every turn with Nostalgia. Oh my god!
