Fic summary: By his seventh year in Hogwarts, Phainon likes to think he’s gotten pretty good at this wizarding thing. On top of being both the Gryffindor Quidditch captain and a Prefect, he has plenty of friends and decent grades—everything he needs for a memorable but not too difficult graduation year. But when the Triwizard tournament is announced to return, and Hogwarts welcomes international guests, Phainon finds himself inexplicably drawn to Durmstrang’s would-be champion Mydeimos. Preview of a Hanahaki Mozeqiu fic, with the text: Jiaoqiu shakes his head, a sharp frown on his face as he looks at Moze. “This is new to me too.” The words come out slowly, as if the healer isn’t sure of them until they leave his lips. “I’ve never seen anything like this before, and it’s like nothing I’ve studied before…” He trails off, staring at the soft pink petals in the palm of his hand. Moze doesn’t like the look on Jiaoqiu’s face, the way he reacts, as if he is the one who is sick, not Moze. It feels even worse to him than his own illness, curse, whatever this is—and suddenly he’s coughing again, pressing his hand against his mask to muffle the sound. Jiaoqiu’s head shoots up at the sound, and he reaches over and gently takes his arm (with the hand that isn’t holding the petals, Jiaoqiu is very considerate of him like that). “Let’s go to my room,” he tells him between coughs. Moze nods, and with a brief yet pointed glance at Feixiao, the healer guides him toward the door. Even as he tries to hold the petals down, Moze can’t help but feel happy, relieved, that Jiaoqiu is there with him. If this is some sort of sickness, Jiaoqiu will find the cure to it—that’s just the kind of person he is.
