Really nice to see this new MPAACH cohort analysis from Drs. Chang, Biagini, and colleagues.
In a prospective early-life AD cohort, they show enrichment of EoE—particularly with food sensitization/allergy—and trajectories placing EoE squarely in the atopic march.

Very important paper below from CHOP A/I division researchers Stan Gabryszewski and Jonathan Spergel on the association between Dupilumab use and autoimmune conditions. An important consideration that warrants more investigation.

Had a great conversation with Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O’Connor on pediatric health, education, and environmental initiatives—and how partnerships between cities, hospitals, and universities can translate science into healthier futures for children and communities. @coreyoconnorpa.bsky.social #PGH
Honored to be joining the @aaaaiorg.bsky.social Foundation Council as Vice Chair for Research and Long-Range Planning. Looking forward to partnering with Elizabeth Phillips and the Council to help guide the Foundation’s research vision for the coming decade. #AAAAI
Honored and excited to join the Editorial Board at @allergy-eaaci.bsky.social! The flagship journal of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. #EAACI #Allergy
Excited to share new work from our lab in @insight.jci.org 🎉
We find that #CD9 is a key regulator of adipose tissue lipid-associated macrophages #LAMs in obesity. Deleting CD9 improves metabolism in obese mice.

Congratulations to all of the #AAAAI26 Foundation awardees!
Very excited for the first day of #AAAAI26! Welcome to Philadelphia!
What if dietary fat acts as an immune signal?
In our new review, we explore how saturated fatty acids activate conserved inflammatory pathways, shape immune cell function, and may represent an evolutionarily conserved host defense mechanism. Look for it soon in DNA and Cell Biology!
🎉 Excited to share that our newest manuscript has been accepted in @insight.jci.org!
We identify CD9 as a key regulator of macrophage-driven adipose remodeling, linking immune–stromal crosstalk to metabolic dysfunction in obesity!
Stay tuned!
