This show's story would improve greatly with a higher budget and less censorship (esp with the yuri stuff + the violence). More focus on the witch sect, more evil plans (and action) for Rosenberg as the main villain, better animation for fight scenes, a detailed backstory for Nadie! And MORE YURI 🌈
I just finished El Cazador de la Bruja too, and I agree: 26 episodes definitely needs a comeback! We get so much more time to contruct these characters, to see them change, to have character arcs basically.

All in all, a great time! It's a testament to how the 26 ep format needs to come back, as the latter half is the show at its strongest. Plus the OST is top-notch (reminded me a bit of the .hack/sign OST - Yuki Kajiura is always winning!) And the femslash is off the charts!

As if we've seen "a lot of queer people" in Republic City in TLOK, or even before. As per canon lore, only the Airbenders were openly accepting of queerness. It's rejected in the Earth Kingdom, forbidden in the Fire Nation (since Azulon I believe?), and it's basically taboo in the Water Tribes...
