yup! different model, same old capitalism

yeah that’s carelessness on the part of OF in the name of “compliance” and does leave creators in a tough space when their AI is (inevitably) wrong - yet another reason OF sucks

it’s the credit card companies, not OF primarily - the card companies (visa and mastercard) have “rules” which have no reason, and even saying “bro” gets labelled as “incest” and they don’t like it - OF does suck, but this isn’t driven by them - blame the numb nuts at visa and mastercard

it’s 4/20, a day when us stoners celebrate cannabis

cannabis prohibition in the US began in 1913 with california and was further legislated in 1937, 1952, 1956 and 1970

because the US government preferred racism over its own research, again and again

one day when my mom was well into her dementia she told me about skipping meals so my brother and i could eat

that’s why hunger bothers me so much - my mom literally went hungry so we could eat, and right now as a society we won’t take our surplus and feed others

it can feel good to bash caitlyn jenner and even to misgender or dead name her; she’s a terrible person who is getting what she deserves

the thing is - doing this doesn’t win arguments and trans folks you like or love will see this, and it will hurt them and they will not trust you

#fcf seems aspirational more than reality

take if off! who else has the job of celebrating you? nobody died thinking they wished they had worked more

when it happens i pretend i don’t see them and get in the way to get my weights - it’s not just a gym culture thing - if you can’t figure out you’re in the way when you don’t need to be, it’s not up to me to explain it to you or accept an inconvenience on your behalf

i’m practicing a peaceful acceptance that asks me to forgive my belief in time scarcity myths and believe in my ability and skill and not to measure my worth by my “productivity”
