I was wondering if you had read the Twilight Princess manga, as I think it makes a good showcase on just how much the "timeline" so to speak can add to the experience when actually incorporated in the story and just how much it can enhance it all, it's a great read either way, I recommend it!

Cinderella Gray was a great show, but comparing it to the manga, I can't help but feel like its edges have been sanded off.
The manga feels raw, edgy, animalistic even, while in the anime, it feels like everyone had a "Keep them cute" sign hanging above their heads.

I'm glad he showed a bunch on Sengoku Youko, felt like material perfectly fit for him and he delivered quite a lot there

It's great, a bit repetitive, but while you're in a run the game demands all your attention and focus so you don't fall behind so you have no time to worry about that, it's just pure fun really

I could be wrong, but there's just tons of evidence there, especially with Tabane's wishes to have a time travel mechanic in Prime 4 being a known fact since ages ago.
I assume they did work on it, only to cut it and try to salvage what was left.

Even the central empty desert would have made sense if it served to contrast a past version of itself, such as an ocean of sort (weird how the bike has a glide mode that's only used twice in the entire game uh)

Most of the dungeons have two different states, Volt Forge and Ice Libs both change dramatically once you turn on their respective generators, and Flare Pool also becomes somewhat "ruined" once you go back to it
Hard not to see some kind of present/past time thing going on.

I am genuinely convinced that the game had a time travel mechanic that was meant to be the glue to hold the game together until it was eventually cut, leaving the game to be some sort of incohesive mess.

It's a sequel of Prime 3, for better and mostly for worse, in my opinion

"the boy"

man at least respect him enough to remember his fuck ass name

It's genuinely because most stories continue past the point they should have ended, so they become this behemoth story that's super fucking long for no reason at all and there's no chance for the ending to be able to tie it all neatly thematically

Welp, Metroid Prime 4 just dethroned Tears of the Kingdom as my most disappointing game of all time, yay, yippee, I'm so happy

I genuinely get it in the sense that a game people were waiting for soooo long scoring the same as Other M is bound to make people a bit crazy

surely......

I would actually be curious about hearing the thought process behind it all!
I think the inclusion has potential, but after the somewhat mixed reception of Prime 3 amongst fans due to how NPC focused it was, it's interesting that the team seem to be doubling down, so it appeals to my curiosity!

Still only shows stuff from Episode 1 so lol

I still love the series deeply, but yeah arc 5 in general can feel that way a bit

5 months ago 0 0 0 0

It doesn't even make sense to me, it's such a beloved arc, so why would you give more episodes to the previous one that most people in the fanbase are more lukewarm about?

The fact that there's a very real possibility that I won't be watching Re:Zero S4 because they've apparently decided to rush through its most beloved arc really wasn't on my bingo card but here we are.
In truth I'm actually not handling it super well, it saddens me a lot, but what can you do

Naroucore genres isn't something I'm huge either, but there's sooooo many works in that space that inevitably, one will land, it's kinda funny to think about.

Stumbled unto this randomly and it was such an emotional read, godspeed Otis, I'm sure you were a great dog.

It's funny because to most sakufriends I have, a TNK boarded ep is usually a bad thing, they hate his ass ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Not a big fan of those past few silent witch eps, Vol 2 has been pretty rushed, it's a shame.
Not everything should be Kusuriya paced but giving a longer volume than usual only 4 episodes is somewhat setting it up for failure.

The best way I found was to have the other characters in universe be as confused about the this character's gender as the reader is to the point they eventually give up and go they/them lol

I actually wrote a character like that once, what are you struggling with?

Having other characters only refer to them by name and avoiding pronouns at all cost is one way to do it, but it does get repetitive quick.

Bunch of good rocks in there

It's been interesting to see White Fox outsource Ugly Mug so much, as outsourcing there has been rare recently, though I suppose it's not all that surprising that they'd throw this one to the wolves?
