Also the dude that tried to fire bomb an AI exec had a shopping list of other execs.

Can also see it bugging people who have issues w/dogs and don't want to give owners reason to bring their dogs closer to a stranger's home. It's a dog owner's world, where they expect to bring their animal companions any and everywhere without consequence. Some people just don't want to be near dogs

(You know I get a little tetchy about people going through my personal property, even when you, the person I trust the most, are the one rifling through my things. I see this thing with the garbage cans as kind of a weird extension of that.)

So it did take me a little bit of emotional labor to calm myself down for my knee jerk reaction and remind myself that it's just a trash can and people are not demanding an unreasonable amount of space in it.

I can see why people might get a little testy about it. As someone who struggled with people respecting their property and space during their formative years, I sure do prefer to be asked permission before other people touch my things.

Why are you glad she lost?

Can you explain why you're happy about it? Which of her policies didn't resonate with you? And before you call me a "Jew hater," know that I'm Jewish and still supported her campaign. I'm not trying to get into an argument. I just want to hear your thoughts.

They were thoroughly waterlogged and could not care less. The kids are alright. There is wonder and beauty in this world yet, and it's worth fighting for. ♥️

Home safe from Florida with no incident. In my neighborhood, I drove past a couple of teenage girls who were out in the pouring rain, taking pictures of each other jumping up and down in a giant puddle, and then huddling together under an umbrella to look at them.

This is a totally normal and sensible thing for a lawyer to say to their pedo client.

Just saw live video of state troopers throwing so much teargas at people who were standing and yelling. They're all complicit, including folksy aw shucks Governor Walz who's crowing about sending his umpteenth performative strongly worded email to j the white house.

That's what you said the other day when this happened the first time. Think a strongly worded email is gonna work this time? Or is this performance art in the hope your constituents won't notice your complicity and turn on you? Your state troopers are teargassing peaceful protesters right now.

You're sending the umpteenth strongly worded email while your state troopers are teargassing peaceful protesters, literally right now. We get it. You're not going to help your constituents. Don't waste your energy and our time by pretending.

Sometimes the hair motivation struggle is real. I've been trying to convince myself to touch up my dye for weeks.

Tell Schumer we see him. Everyone who voted yes is either retiring soon or not up for reelection in 2026. He really thought we wouldn't notice? We're gonna see if Mamdani has a friend who can primary him. The good old days of Senate politics ended decades ago. The Democratic party needs to catch up.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just saying, Mamdani is the duly elected Democratic party nominee. Plenty of leftists, myself included, held their noses, closed their eyes, and voted for Harris out of pragmatism. Now it's the centrist corpo-Democrats' turn.

What happened to "vote blue no matter who?"

5 months ago 0 0 1 0

Noticing @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social's insultingly backhanded 11th-hours endorsement of @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social is conspicuously absent from his bsky. "Vote Blue, no matter who," right Hakeem? ;-D or does that only apply to your milquetoast establishment colleagues? Go Zohran Go!

Up early and on the way home from this quick jaunt to NC. Hard to believe this was the last travel gig of the year with @blaircrimmins.bsky.social. Was a great one though! Band was tight! Now to hunker down close to home for some local shows interspersed with some solo travel for family stuff.
