man i just remember back in 2010 doing master of the wild hunt wolf spam with eldrazi monument, just killing off everything people play by throwing multitudes of wolves at it.

Keep in mind this was the era of hyper-violent comics like Lobo at his peak, the dawn of deadpool and Maxx where people and aliens alike were often little more than pressurized hamburger pinatas. the people complaining about violence in games had a point(it was a bit much), albeit an uninformed one.

~> as the things you're having thrown in front of you are, there are things that are more significant to you here, now and much of what you are being forced to ingest is actually meant to distract you. if it's in your ability, help, if it's not, best not dwell on it. acknowledge a wrong, move along.

given that's all you can really do, yes.the world is full of problems, but you do need to work on the problems closest to you and perhaps take opportunities to fix things around you when they present themselves. everything else... well, it's not JUST noise, but you can't forget that as significant~>

very small town "they're not one of us so fuck 'em" logic and it really is getting old that people like that still exist. i get wanting to keep to oneself, but it isn't hard to recognize the fucked up inhumanity of it all and call it what it is.

netanyahu has probably by this point done more harm to israel than all of the people the state calls enemies combined.

there are many people who think everything is fine until it's happening to them, because "that doesn't happen here, that's a them problem and they probably deserve it"

world's fucked up, dude.

the propaganda is being scrutinized and it does not hold up to reality.

it is definitely not full coverage to all corners of the cape. and some areas can be quite remote.

in cape breton we have one but it tends to have stops kinda few and far between and it's somewhat unreliable with buses regularly breaking down or running past stops early if nobody is IMMEDIATELY at them. it can often be an hour till the next bus.

going back from a city with the population of my current entire province... quite a bit rougher. everything is more difficult and if you don't have a car you're largely stranded in cape breton.

i'd lived in cape breton, halifax, fredericton and moncton, then suddenly calgary. for me the shock was a bit if a good thing mostly. like all these small cities with... frankly questionably reliable transportation if it was available(obviously to a lesser degree with halifax) to suddenly LRT city

ah, things are quite different all over canada. tbh cor me one of the biggest culture shocks were moving to a big city then moving back and having very few people of similar interests to mingle with. and no access to gamestop without a 4 hour drive.

admittedly as a canadian, i'm curious what you ran into last time, but i suspect it was in large part an expectation vs reality of immigration thing?
