I do believe you need to do a bit of recalculation. Both as to the beginnings of the Civil Rights movement, to the death of FDR, to the 1960s - and work out their co-ordination with however you imagine 'southern whites' sharing a coalition.

From a professional viewpoint, albeit of an earlier period, my conviction is that every one of the Project 2025 ambitions has its deepest roots not in anti-New Deal actions, but in anti-Truman political actions, which have scared these clowns pea-green.

Just thinking. Do you suppose this nation will ever get out of Viet Nam - and all it brought with it?

A note. This is the season where the leftover and extremely itchy down undercoat must be removed. Even Archie the bonemouth Shar-pei has to be curry combed to get rid ot it. Nana needs this for at least the next month or more. Old fluff iz ITCHY!

I am opposed to people who imagine that they can flee to Santa Fe and will be 'safe' - because they don't know the difference betwen Mexico and New Mexico.

Looking out my kitchen window onto the main road in the HOA, what do I see but a very small white Dog, with a collar, heading to the public street. No one was following him.

I hate this place. I hate the people 'living here.' That little Dog? He's dead.

Listen, Buddy. U dint do it. Bad pibbels did it. I hope all is well. I'm away naow, 'cause Archie had a traumatic event this morning, jumping out of teh car (no taller than hiz own bed - he iz very psilly sometimes) & I must ensure that all the cookiez on eartth are available. He's OK. Be good.

No conscription within the US is legal without the consent of Congress under the Congressional Act 1972,. All males, between the ages of 18-26 must enroll under the Act. If they do not do so they may not receive any Federal benefits, ever.am

Grow damn up and stop fear-mongering.

I have now taken to streaming 'Have Gun, Will Travel' from its very first episode, in lieu of dealing with any of the clown shows currently en fait. I remember Mum, claiming she was taking her children to church, instead taking us all out to Carefree AZ where Richard Boone was. It was very good.

Yah. Nothing like having things explained when an explanation is stupid. I lived in Albuquerque Nuevo Mexico for many years. We hosted the Duque of Alburquerque in the 1980s. How about telling Nuevo Mexicanos the difference between corn and wheat tortillas? Or why there are potatoes in Ireland?

And who are you exactly? A 'justice correspondent'? Judge AND jury, as well? How g/d adorable.

His proposed 'budget' does exactly that. It is however only proposed, not enacted.

As anyone who has ever lived in Nuevo Mexico could tell you, you've misplaced the 'R' in Alburquerque. www.abqjournal.com/clickable/pi...

Which is why that power belongs to Congress.

It'd be so much cheaper for DPAA-HI to drive the 15 miles to Schofield Barracks Cemetery and disinter the 20+ sets of remains which were recovered from the Pacific Theater after WWII, but which were never identified. Not as much fun, I expect. Just a field trip.

In the event Congress re-initiates a draft, there will be three, not one. There will be a military draft, a draft for IT specialties and a medical draft. For the medical draft the end age will be 65. It is illegal to draft an individual who has not reached the age of majority.

Some one, stupid AF found a reference about the 'Persian Corridor' - the supply route into the Soviet Union during WWII. Didn't bother to go any farther than that. Faulty understanding of what Google searches produce are the result. It sounded good tho.
