Panel 3 Elise leans towards their reflection. Regular Elise has a soft smile on their face while the reflection looks down anxiously with clenched fists. Elise: I’m gonna stop you right there, champ. Don’t over analyze how you did, okay? You know these folks. If you upset them, they’ll tell you and then we’ll work through it. Panel 4 Close up on Elise’s white sneakers as they continue walking. Page 55 of my webcomic, Hex & Seal. Hex puts his white leather coat on over his sleepwear when a soft, high-pitched whine starts. Hex looks down at his hunting dog, Luck, and opens the door to the entry room. Out? he says to Luck, it's an odd hour but alright. Hex puts on his rubber boots and stuffs the hems of his red plaid pyjama pants in. He and Luck step out, Luck's tail wagging for a moment as she is allowed out. She follows Hex through the yard and towards the South-Eastern edge of the farm, away from the road and towards the woods. Her wagging tail has calmed down. The midnight sun lights up the skies and the tree tops but the woods are still bathed in shade.

And here's a closer look at our cast of characters! 👀👀
Imari and Seto from Ruri Rocks, in a minimalist style. They are aged up slightly from the series, and Imari is wearing green trousers, a white shirt with pens in her breast pocket, brown ankle boots and a brown bowtie. Her hair is short and brown, with blue tips at the back. She is standing and pondering something. Seto has grown taller than Imari, and has bulked up considerably, standing with her arms crossed. She is wearing a light blue tee, denim overalls that are only held up by one strap, as well as a tan holster on her thigh, to hold the things she always needs close to hand. She is also wearing tan and pink shoes that are equally good for things like walking long distances, and climbing stuff. Her hair is red and it's collected in a loose pony tail.
Like I did with Nagi and Ruri, I wanted to try and age up Imari and Seto, with Imari staying mostly the same, while Seto leaned fully into constantly being outdoors, getting her hands dirty.

This new head ghost has got to go, and Amelia may have a surprising ally… Magic and mischief and a life lesson or two from Matthew Dow Smith, creator of DC’s Misfits of Magic and Maverick’s The October Girl.
