Wait, AND multiplayer? I'd love to play Dome Keeper with others, let me know if you've played or are interested in the game.

New keepers! This is an exciting reason to return to a game I've loved the past few years.
Working on a personal project on the weekend and remembered these incredible DJ set the Cercle YT channel put on during the pandemic.
This one of Eelke Kleign at Mont Saint-Michel is incredible.
It's wild that this is a real place in the world.

The restaurant scene from Heat, but instead it's
Emo Philips and Steven Wright.
"To put it bluntly, an X post today receives less than 3% of the views a single tweet delivered seven years ago."
If you think it is necessary to be on Twitter to communicate your fact-based worldview, the reality is that worldview is being smothered.
I'm a reading purist.
If you're listening to an audiobook, you're not really reading.
An e-book? Nah, that's not reading either.
A softcover book? How could that possibly count as reading?
Hardcover? Not reading.
Scrolls of vellum or papyrus? Hardly.
The only REAL reading is off stone tablets.

Watching ASMR videos of professional crafters at work: tailors, cobblers, bakers, etc.
I've never played a Pokemon game, though if they have an easy voice, I could be into this.
I first started bowling ~20 years ago at the Oakland Bowling Club in California. At the time we were in our 20s and the few other playing members were in their 70s. Moved to Edinburgh in '24 and joined the Dudley BC, it's been great, but it looks like new membership is a challenge across the board
Do I need to go back and rewatch this? I watched it a while ago and remember it feeling rambling and meandering… like a coke fueled production.
Ahhh, that explains it.
A Patrick H. Willems video essay got me interested in the movie last year. I'm glad I finally gave it a chance, I liked it and can see why others might not… but I don't follow that person and wasn't sure why they were on my TL. 🤷♂️
Why am I seeing a post from someone I don't follow, making a very safe and old take? Is it because they're farming for engagement and I follow too many "well, actually" people who can't help but engage?
I go through periods of listening to their discorg, getting to the point of wanting to sing along… and then I read the lyrics and, like, I've got too weak-willed of a prosaic mind to process the poetry of what the lyrics are.
It feels optimistic or myopic to think that it's just the game industry.
“Australians can now live & work freely in the EU for 4 years and vice versa
That means they now have 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 EU rights than British people. Free movement offered millions of us fantastic opportunities but Brexiteers slammed that door shut, most shamefully on their own children”
I've spent the last half-hour looking at saxophones and wondering if I should try to buy a cheap one.
I played tenor sax in school, so there's a bit of nostalgia. Also, I have a graveyard of rarely used instruments that I'm not particularly good at playing. 🤔
Fun way to start the day. Cool to hear some extended solos.

Caught one of the old creepy buses home tonight.
Oh man, glazed old fashioned donuts are my fave… I don't think I've seen one after 7 years in Europe, might have to look harder.
Thinking more and more about ditching social media and making a goofy ass website that I post things to.
If you enjoy Fortune's Foundation, you might like Occlude. I've started playing it, but now that I'm a few levels in, I'm struggling with some of the puzzle mechanics, but I haven't given up yet.

Totally! I've gotten to the point where there's very few games I'm not deciding that last card, and since I usually play in the morning over breakfast and tea, I'm trying to put a spread of three together to set my intent for the day.
Glad to find other players.
Saturday Night Live UK was fun. Kind of fun to see hiccups in production, I'm curious how it'll take shape going forward.
Post a gif of who you wanted to be as a kid.
Give me the cheap GPU that renders everything like a PS1 era game, with no texture filtering and wobbly affine mapped UV coordinates.
Same! My growing interest in clothing is less about fashion and more about craft and sustainably. I'm building up to trying to make some garments this year, a t-shirt is on the list.
Hell yeah, good to see game devs charging what their games are worth. 😅
I've been replacing old band and game studio T-shirts with nice blank supima cotton ones from Uniqlo, and that's been a considerable step up. It's interesting to understand what's behind the materials.
