Yes it's quite extraordinary how generous Australian tax breaks were for diesel utes, and they were around for a lot longer than EVs have enjoyed their breaks. If you're in the market for a new vehicle and you're not buying an EV, you're probably bad at math.

Motorists who live in rural and regional postcodes don't drive any further than the average suburban motorist, in fact their vehicles often travel fewer km per year.

Almost certain to have an LFP battery - it's what China does best. Clever engineering has allowed long range vehicles despite the lower energy density. But if looked after properly, the battery will outlast the car.
