I think we will see Caine again. I think once the humans save Abel, Abel will bring Caine back and they will have this brotherly moment. Which then leaves to them letting the humans go free with Caine and Abel going on all sort of adventures (with maybe Scratch cause tumor) for eternity

That's true! Caine could be so prideful that he didn't want to use any of Abel's code and locked him away. And to keep Abel from trying to break free, he does the same thing with the humans and constantly sends them on adventures and uses Abel for the NPCs.

True, could be him using Abel's programming then, which backs up the consumption. But there is a question about why is Caine not "perfect" after nomming Abel? Perhaps their codes aren't compatible so Caine can't fully absorb Abel's code into his own?

That is a possibility, but I have a theory. Remember what Caine said to Abel before Thanosing him? I think that might be 1. Foreshadowing the existence of the 2nd AI, but also 2. Abel is the actual AI, but is having his data constantly erased so it doesn't try and fight Caine.

They really went heavy on the references to 'I Have no Mouth and I Must Scream" which was the biggest inspo for the show (in case you weren't aware)

I'm thinking either Caine will be restarted and/or we get to meet the second AI they hinted at.
