@marshmucker.bsky.social Dr. Lori Sutter was awarded a NC Biotech Flash grant, March 1. MS student Emily Leiser is working w/Sutter & Ralph Mead to measure PFAS in local marshes. Where PFAS reservoirs might be in plants, soils & H2O. Do PFAS compounds degrade or accumulate on dead Spartina culms.

I'm recruiting a funded MS student to quantify PFAS in salt marshes in SE USA. Must be US resident (apologies to all the great international talent!). If you are interested, pls reach out.
