I was surprised when I watched a show the other day. There are several Canadian companies that make parts for all the F35’s. I worry that cancelling the entire order may cause more of our companies to collapse.

Emerging from the darkness of this era will require us to acknowledge that the previous status quo, including many institutions that may have served us well in another era, have been failing for my entire lifetime.
How about our steelworkers, our autoworkers? Our lumber industry, etc? Pretty sure they’re ‘innocent victims’.
It’s mining in Alaska and Nevada by Canadian companies, it would make sense the the US interested, however we should also stake a claim in the company.
The Liberal government will begin rolling out a long-awaited automatic tax filing system for low- income Canadians and make the school food program permanent in advance of a federal budget that the prime minister is promising will lay the groundwork to support the country’s most vulnerable citizens.
This is the Canadian brand! They’ve been doing such good work staying positive and sending a positive image of what Canada is!

Not only is this terrifying but also shows how ignorant he is of Canadian politics, Charlie is pretty well known, so to say he votes Liberal?!?
"American social media posts mislead on Canadian gun laws"
Of course they do! And unfortunately, far too many Canadians read American news and social media bullsh*t & believe it to be true. Combatting US disinfo is one of the reasons why Canada needs to tighten up Canadian content/ownership rules.
Trump will never abolish ice, release the epstein files, or quit persecuting opponents, lgbtq+ or poc. Ever.
The only way to fix this is a general strike.

Burnaby, B.C.-based Building Bloc Systems is assembling mobile microfactories with 3-D printers that can manufacture prosthetics at a speed and cost unmatched by a hospital's conventional means. Building Bloc's technology can print a leg prosthetic in 44 minutes, on average. #StandWithUkraine 🇨🇦🇺🇦
Totally agree. I’m exhausted from seeing and hearing about the US everywhere I turn. Their news, their politics, their celebrities, their movies, it dominates everything. I’d rather choose when I want to hear about them, not have it forced into every part of our media.
While the US continues to isolate themselves from any foreign influence, Canada & others continue to allow unfettered US dominance of our entertainment & news industries. It's time for Canada to fight for our sovereignty by limiting American influence with additional Cdn content/ownership rules.
This is awful, I hate the heckling period and to do it while a child’s letter is being written 🤬

A black-and-white portrait of two young boys in dark clothing with white collars. They are sitting side by side, facing the camera with solemn expressions. The photo is old and slightly faded, likely taken in the early 1900s.
Honouring British Home Child Day by remembering my great-grandfather, Albert Edward Barrett. Orphaned at 6, sent to Canada at 11 to work as a farmhand with wages withheld by Barnardo’s. He died at 31. Canada has acknowledged but not apologized for this history.
