I thought that Rio chance was the big one, didn’t think we’d get another but up stepped the big man!
Virgil you fucking beauty! Awful game of football, we were shite for most of it, but winning a derby in stoppage time, doesn’t get much better. History made at the Hilly Dick 😂 #lfc

I know hat you’re saying but he’s had no service. His movement has been good but if he doesn’t get the ball what’s he supposed to do?
He’s guilty of overplaying in positions he shouldn’t, because he’s a midfielder playing out position strangely enough. However, he does need to accept he’s playing RB and just make safe, defensive decisions first and foremost, play only when it’s appropriate.
Phenomenal vision and execution
That is so cringe! Bless ‘em.
Respect. Some things are just more important than football and rivalry.
Because the club wouldn’t give him a new contract, one he fully deserved, so I don’t blame him personally
Luis Diaz showing us again what we’re misssing! #lfc
Look at the coach in my opinion. There needs to be a bit more balance in the squad admittedly but I don’t think quality is the issue.
1) we need the money in order to compete and improve. 2) we need the attraction of CL football to bring in players of the required level.
On Wirtz, what do you think he’d look like in tha PSG team? He needs movement and players around him to play off. So many times he’s got nothing on atm
We couldn’t keep Kelleher until Ali is ready to leave though, he wanted to go play so only fair to let him.
Salah was dreadful though anyway, loads of promising positions and just a poor touch or pass. Don’t think it would’ve changed the outcome.
Those players would be immense in that PSG team If Luis Enrique was coaching them.
#lfc have to fight so hard to score a goal but it’s so easy for the opposition. All the money spent on attacking players and no one seems to be able to pick out a corner to stick in. PSG get 1 chance 2nd half and slot it, tie done. Severe lack of coaching evident, compare it to PSG. Fed up.
You can see exactly how well coached both these teams are. One team has players available every time they have it, the other has no one and can’t string 5 passes together. One team has an effective press, the other disjointed.
When did we become so bad at actually playing football? It’s embarrassing how easily we give it away!Is the PL so anti-football now that we’ve forgotten how to keep possession in tight areas and play under pressure, too used to just having a low block to play against? Our press is disjointed AF #lfc
I don't expect to go through, i would be satisfied (given the situation) if we could show up and give a good account of ourselves after the embarrassment of last week's fixture. Make it a close tie and show something for the ground to get behind.
Poor 2nd half has pissed me off. What was the plan, control the game and hit on the break? You don’t do that by letting Fulham dominate the ball! A better team gets something in that half. #lfc should be in command of possession at Anfield, not so passive and defensive. PSG will have a field day
Rio. ❤️ #lfc
(Any team name here) counter much better than Liverpool these days.
Mane was undoubtedly my favourite player of that era. Salah got all the limelight but Mane was the one for me that really used to awe me with what he did with the ball. We've been blessed with so many good players but that front 3 was as close to perfection as you'll ever see, perfectly balanced!
We waited decades for a top quality right-winger then two came along at once basically. What a signing Mane went on to be! Part of one of the best front threes the game has ever seen!
Happy Birthday Sadio! #lfc
Take everything with a pinch of salt. FSG aren't going to come out and say anything other than they back their manager publicly as it would completely undermine him until the point they're ready to actually pull the trigger.
Konate is maybe the exception, VVD however is not your typical no-nonsense CB, he's always looking to turn defence into attack and bring a ball down to play if he can. That's not a criticism as it's whats made him the best in the world, but he's not a carragher 'pessimist'.
Always loved the Villa goal. And I can't remember seeing Roy Evans shouting "F*ck You" after the united goal! 🤣 #lfc
