I feel like if I started yelling at strangers about taking photos of a cafe where a terrible person didn’t write a book, or the waste of coming to Edinburgh to queue outside a shop to buy tat about a made up boy wizard, I might never stop. And someone would probably be filming.

Oh, the struggle of biting my tongue when getting caught up in groups of tourists taking photos of the Elephant House, or queuing outside the HP shops on Victoria Street 😡

All the wildlife out today: several deer, so many rabbits and a cute little robin.

I think it’s very recent - I walk past most days and have noticed the scaffolding slowly disappearing, but it’s first time I’ve noticed it completely down

I reckon the scaffolding has been up for 7 or 8 years, I’d forgotten what it actually looked like.

So nice to see not only North Bridge restored and scaffolding free, but also a beautiful blue sky in Edinburgh this morning

While the world is pretty terrible right now, 8 years ago today this smily little boy bounced into our lives. He’s now a more sedate gentleman of 10, but he’s as handsome as ever.
