I feel like if I started yelling at strangers about taking photos of a cafe where a terrible person didn’t write a book, or the waste of coming to Edinburgh to queue outside a shop to buy tat about a made up boy wizard, I might never stop. And someone would probably be filming.

Oh, the struggle of biting my tongue when getting caught up in groups of tourists taking photos of the Elephant House, or queuing outside the HP shops on Victoria Street 😡

There’s no chance I would anyway, but just to reinforce

All the wildlife out today: several deer, so many rabbits and a cute little robin.

I think it’s very recent - I walk past most days and have noticed the scaffolding slowly disappearing, but it’s first time I’ve noticed it completely down

I reckon the scaffolding has been up for 7 or 8 years, I’d forgotten what it actually looked like.

So nice to see not only North Bridge restored and scaffolding free, but also a beautiful blue sky in Edinburgh this morning

I feel like it should be on its last legs, but I’ll keep it going as long as it can.

While the world is pretty terrible right now, 8 years ago today this smily little boy bounced into our lives. He’s now a more sedate gentleman of 10, but he’s as handsome as ever.

I had the same email, and was also surprised to learn there was such a thing as an ad-free model.

I resent spending money with Amazon so I’m now thinking about moving away from Kindle altogether

What do you mean the ghost bus runs on fuel and not just dust and vibes?

I was trying to decide between using that and gilet, when it should have been life preserver all along

On a soggy Saturday (hey, Storm Dave 👋), there’s only one thing to do - Lego!

I think Marty’s bodywarmer is the best thing about this set, and now I need to watch Back to the Future tonight.

The colour of the UK on this map should be a national embarrassment, and the politicians that enabled this should be held accountable.

Trans rights are far from a guarantee here, and we need to stop politicians chipping away at our rights.

Less than an hour between these two photos at Loch Lubnaig but it might as well have been a season

First day of Spring and Edinburgh is glorious 😍 Arthur’s Seat, Salisbury Crags and all the way up to the castle

So glad to work close enough that I can wander up here at lunchtime, and even happier that the weather is finally good enough to do it

Did I buy this book because the cover art looks like WayHaught fan art? Maybe…

Nice to see the colour and the detail on North Bridge beginning to emerge after years behind scaffolding

Love is in the air at Edinburgh zoo. Pebbling marks the start of the breeding season for Gentoo penguins.

Kids at Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity painted pebbles for the penguins to choose from and present to their mates.

It’s that time of year when every morning walk to the station for a week or so is accompanied by a chorus of honks. So many of them this morning!

Also very happy that it’s finally light at 7am again

I think I like it. It’s mostly sweet, with a bit of a savoury aftertaste. Not sure what it would go best with though
