Love those unexpected moments when you discover your diet is working. I can actually fit underneath the bed now.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on my stuff in about... 20 years? Good luck and enjoy!
Word for planning, prose and audio drama. Final Draft for everything else. But everyone says Scrivener is where it's at and I am tempted...
A set of oak brown Blu-ray shelves with over 300 cases filling its 24 shelves
After years of hiding it all in plastic drawers I finally have somewhere to keep... 80% of my collection? All the Doctor Who and most of my DVDs live elsewhere.
Because their marketing budget is unparalleled. And now I really want a Tunnocks teacake.
Oops! That typo's been up a week and I was desperately hoping no-one would spot it...
Would love to do an FOI request to find out how much of our money has been piddled away on this snake oil. www.theguardian.com/technology/2...
It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World is currently on Prime Video and I cannot stress enough how important it is that you make time in your calendar to watch it. A hilarious and indulgent slapstick masterpiece with a stunts aplenty, cameos galore, and screenplay coauthored by the writer of The Ladykillers.
We're on the verge of a genocidal, nuclear war that our supposed "ally" has said he's ready to unleash.
Would it be too much to ask for the Prime Minister to have something to say about it? Or do?
Suspend US bases on UK soil now.
Superb. Fireworks are fun, yes. But imo at best they should only be bought by licensed operators cos they're extremely distressing to 99% of organisms on Earth.
Hermes and Haephestus right? I take my props in cash only
[Niche Reference Alert] Soooo does Aunt Bessie go on to found the complaints department of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation?
Can confirm it is indeed Peter Purves - evidently very much up for a laugh!
Reminder if you're carrying on with DMP after those new episodes - this minisode starring Peter Purves slots in just before Feast of Steven youtu.be/FXswDBbPEOM?...
I can highly recommend The Magic Faraway Tree by the way. As someone who loved the books when I was a kid it felt like a really fun and faithful adaptation. And try not to have a tear in your eye come the final scene, I dare you.
Spearhead from Space: the 4K edition
This must be a candidate for the most surreal deathbed confession ever
I've seen a bit of it and it's simply wonderful. Attenborough remains mostly on narrator duties though as the series creates characters out of the homes and families as much as the animals. It's a really fresh and heartwarming take on natural history and I really hope you love it!
Some half-self-promo: the new Attenborough show, Secret Garden, was made by the extraordinarily talented people that I work with at Plimsoll. Who knew you can watch an Easter treat, not just eat them? It's a wonderful series full of magic and drama. Tune in on Sunday! www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...
I did a dot-to-dot picture, artists must accept my artistic genius.
A further campaign I would like to begin is for streaming services to have a 4K with Ads tier. Ads are annoying... But so are low bitrate 1080p streams!
Lorraine has to be Piggy though!! It's either Marty or Doc. My instincts say Marty.
Just saw someone on Facebook suggest Muppets' Back to the Future and *THIS IS THE REMAKE WE NEED AND THE CAMPAIGN STARTS HERE*
Since I think it's mentioned in ep 1 that Anthony is from an agency, I reckon they set up or took over a large scale temp agency for a while and used that as their casting pool. Ronald I think was just an advert, they were open with it being a filmed experiment from the start - just not the fakery!
