A great SABR analytics conference wrapped up a wonderful 12 days in Phoenix. Now it's back to STL for me.

Made it to my last hotel of the trip. Getting ready for SABR Analytics.

I have developed a really bad habit of calling out "waymo!" every time I see one.

Another great NINE conference completed. Now for Spring Break, followed by SABR Analytics next weekend.

I wish...we just got delayed 3 hours :(

Next stop PHX for NINE, spring break, and SABR Analytics. Everything is delayed because of snow/sleet in STL, so who knows when I'll get there 🤷‍♀️

Today's agenda:

In total it should be about 17 hours from the ship to my condo 😴😴

After 8 days at sea, I woke up to the wonderful view of land, specifically Lisbon 🩵

I just got an email from a student addressed to "Respected Professor Levin." I suspect it was written by AI, but I will take it :)

My methods class is writing journal articles as their semester long project. I set aside today to grade the rough drafts. It took me 6 hours to grade what had been turned in (some are still missing). Luckily they were all very good, because i am now tired and brain fried 🤣 I think a nap is in order.

In Chicago for Thanksgiving and a ton of family events. I love visiting, but the traffic getting into the city reminds me I could never live here.

I got my 2nd Shingles vaccine Friday. All I've been able to do since then is sleep. I know it's better than getting shingles and I'd do it again in a second, but I've got work I need to get done!!!!
