He may throw a hissy fit for the ages, but Arozarena needs to realize he’ll be the DH when the Mariners call Colt Emerson up. Brendan Donovan fits better in left field and the incumbent out there is a disaster.

Randy Arozarena make one single play at all in left field challenge.

I’ll be interested to see what a larger sample yields, but the ABS system feels very punitive for teams built to hit the homer, sacrificing strikeouts. I imagine walks will be down and strikeouts will be up. Will it kill rallies? Will it bring down pitch counts? Feels bigger than anticipated.
