A general theme in deltarune, is that living a different life will make you into a different person, and that probably apply to gaster as much as anyone else.

What would he actually get into, in a world where he didnt have the assets of an entire monster nation to finance his projects?

thinking on it, gaster showing up in deltarune might not remove much of his mistery from undertale since they`ll probably end up being just as different as people than everyone else has been.

i dont think your setup is much to blame for the readability, the video had to be made low quality because of its lenght so a lot of details are hard to see.
