Me too, but once we start letting the media dictate when we change the leader, we end up with the chaos that happened with the Tories.

Perhaps not, but I'd rather not go back to the chaos of the most recent revolving door Tory PMs. Be careful what you wish for (e.g. Brexit isn't an example we should follow).
Part of the reason for the unpopularity is the relentless media campaign against Labour.

WHY DID BBC BREAKFAST GIVE REFORM UK A SPECIAL GRAPHIC?

A small detail in a brief report sparks some big questions about what the national broadcaster is doing during the run up to local and national elections.

So what? He was still elected. 🤷‍♀️

I was under the impression that Labour, including Starmer, had been elected in a general election. Seems democratic to me. 🤷‍♀️

Popularity isn't the same as competent though.
Johnson was 'apparently' popular, but he was an incompetent untruthful buffoon.
Just because the media ignores all the boring, but necessary improvements being made, doesn't mean that they aren't happening.
Unfortunately, people vote for grifters though

You clearly haven't understood the book either, so I can't help you.

If the book that they received was looking worse for wear after being in an attic (like Dorian's picture), then there must be a pristine version out there because the returned book did all the aging.

Google the topic of the book and it will make sense. Better still, read the book.

A picture of a rather dilapidated copy of "The picture of Dorian Gray" There is visible water damage to the cover and the plastic cover is yellowing. Obviously, not evident from the picture but there is a truly foul musty smell emanating from it!

Last week, a gentleman returned this rather dilapidated copy of this famous book to us after 50 years. He had found it in his attic!
Presumably this means there is a pristine copy somewhere in our libraries....

Exactly, they are going out of their way to paint a false narrative whilst covering their own backs by saying "but we have the bbc verify page that gives the picture and if you follow this maze, defeat the magic wizard and jump through five flaming hoops you can find the most relevant statistics."

🤔 Isn't it his supporters who made it so unpleasant in the first place.
I remember it being fine in the early days before Musk took over and wrecked it.

Wait a minute, is this the same Richard Tice who repeatedly called for Angela Rayner to resign over her dubious tax shenanigans? Surely not, because that would make him look like a hypocritical wanker. Oh.

Can't we just deport him and his cronies instead?

There should be a law passed, and enforced, that we will no longer have for profit prisons of any kind! Ever again! Incentivized incarceration should be a crime against humanity and should be retroactively enforced! They know what they are doing is wrong!

More than 600 migrants cross English Channel in single day On Saturday, 602 people arrived on nine boats, marking the second busiest day so far this year.

Yesterday, the BBC covered 600 people crossing the channel in small boats on Saturday, noting it was the 2nd highest in a day so far this year. What they'd didn't add was that even including the 600 people, crossings are down 35% compared with the same time last year.

I wouldn't trust Badenoch (or any current Tories) to look after a pot plant. Hypocrites.

Very “strange” how the “accidents” are in one direction!

A bit like Farage, really. It’s just bad luck 🙃

When Boris Johnson failed his security clearance, spooks restricted his access to intelligence.
Looking at his Cabinet, they certainly succeeded.

Reform dragged into tax row by Richard Tice’s unpaid £100,000 The party’s deputy leader says he will ‘pay what is owed if numbers need rechecking’ after more revelations from The Sunday Times

In short Rayner had to resign due to concerted media & political pressure over a single stamp duty mistake. Millionaire Tice bankrolled his party through deliberate, dodgy, tax-avoiding corporate tricks and yet the media pressure is limited to a few outlets.

Hah. ON TOP of the other Tice Scandal...

He setup 4 shell companies to avoid tax and then gave it to Reform UK.

ALSO don't forget: Nadhim Zahawai ended up with a £5m HMRC bill for tax dodging.

Robert Jenrick helped Richard Desmond avoid £45m in tax.

Right-wing ideology boils down to: wealth extraction without social responsibility.
= things always get worse for the majority and truly awful for the most vulnerable.

Tax in the UK is an irregular verb

Therefore Angela Rayner cheats tax but Richard Tice cheeky chappily, entrepreneurially ducks and dives tax

But the MSM won’t runs a 2 weeks campaign against him involving every bloody talk show having to run it for an hour a day cos people want their pound of flesh and sharpen their pitchforks

Tice ‘happy to put things right’ after ‘he failed to pay £100k in corporation tax’ Mr Tice said last year Angela Rayner would resign if she had “any moral decency” after admitting to underpaying stamp duty

Richard Tice deputy leader of Reform ran four shell companies which did not pay any tax on profits between 2020 and 2022.

He's now offering to "put things right".

Go on then Richard - resign.
