I’m a member of the Green Party, I’ll be voting Green in the list, but literally can’t vote for a Green candidate in my area. I’ve gone from convincing people around me that it’s only possible to get a Green government if people will vote for them, to Greens don’t even think they can win here.

That’s all I get from Scott Arthur, or telling me how terrible some other party is. Vexing.

Not if you don’t run in our constituencies…

Back in 2024 I pondered whether it would be falling below 20% polling that would have Labour finally enter crisis mode and start actually changing their plans (for better or worse).

They've been below that mark for six months and might as well be a zombie party at this point. No signs of life.

So, calling on the government to reflect better recycling aims in policy going forward, and engaging with primary schools. Excellent start, is there anything else you are doing about any of the other ones?

It’s great that you’ve compiled this, what does this tell you and how will it inform your work going forward?

If you ever wanted a reason to donate & support the Good Law Project, this would be good one.

Yes Starmer was given bad advice by the likes of McSweeney, but he was also given good advice by others not to touch Mandelson with a barge pole. Starmer's judgement in going with all those pushing for his appointment is the only thing that matters in this story

Post World War Two, the UK had stronger controls over basic necessities which were in public ownership. Now all necessities are managed by the market, there is no option to balance.

OpenAI: We’re burning money like the Joker. A miracle needs to happen for us to turn a profit

Microsoft: Please please use our AI systems, we’re teetering on the edge here

Anthropic: I wonder what’ll kill us first: lawsuits, regulations or model collapse

Media and universities: AI is here to stay

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you design a system and 50% of its users are using it wrong, that is not user error.

You cannot blame users for that, you built a terrible system.

I can't believe how quickly people got over shaming others for using AI to develop your crap posters. Gigs, politics, whatever. Ask a friend who is arty, pay a real artist. Stop using the god damn slop machine to steal artwork and slap it together from real people for you.

I totally understand, you might be surprised by the skill level people would be happy with to have their figures done, but obvs you know yourself what you want to expose yourself to! I hope you get loads of figures!

I don’t have figures, but if you have headspace for a business you could look at offering figure painting for other people including mansion of madness figures etc. might be too stressful for timelines / organising postage but it might be a win win for you. List on Etsy and see if you get takers.

It cycles because working class history isn’t taught. Most of us know about the fucking Tudors but aren't told about Britain inventing the camps in the Boer War, nor the Battle of Lewisham.

We’re told what to remember and groomed to be the reverent divided minions of poshos.

Fuck that.

Hacked Off | Home The Hacked Off Campaign was established in 2011 in response to the phone-hacking revelations and campaigns for a free and accountable press for the public.

Force them to report, with integrity, on the real, truthful reasons their lives have got harder.

Trans rights and abortion rights are the same underlying fight. It's all bodily autonomy, and I need people to realize that.

Energy Corps and Banks should be made to refer to these bill hikes and bonuses as “the paedophile’s dividend”

You’re jacking up prices for broke people because a fucking 80 year-old nonceburger doesn’t want us talking about the Epstein Files.

see?
here's the thing. A lot of people are like, the earth is fucked, it's beyond salvation, it's hit the tipping point, but time and time again we see that if we just fucking fixed the problem, it rebounds so incredibly fast. Imagine what could be done if people actually cared

The absolute best case explanation for why Ministers are handing over vast troves of sensitive data to Palantir is that they are breathtakingly naive. Best case because the other explanations are: corruption or that they support its authoritarian, anti-human, far right agenda.

Painting on top of wallpaper, then wallpapering on top of that thick and impervious layer should be illegal. Punishable by public flogging.

Frankensteins for nearby quirky vibes. Otherworld if you go to Leith walk for local brewed beers and chill vibes. Mosque kitchen for the Edinburgh locals favourite.

And let's be clear what's being suggested...

That Muslim wives and daughters are going into the polling booth wanting to vote REFORM but their dominant controlling Islamic husbands demanded they voted for the unmarried, white woman plumber, in a party led by a gay Jewish man.
