I'll tolerate a tiny 2rem thumbnail if I need to

Loving @joshwcomeau.com's css-for-js course so far. I'm a couple modules in and I'm really impressed with the visualizations and games.

I wish youtube had a "no thumbnail" setting. I just want a table of videos showing the title, channel, views, and date.

Jesus you people are so dense. Have a go at a good faith interpretation of what my complaint about the picture is. Please. Its so simple.

Now i think you're trolling. Scales are only scales if played in sequence and the arrow is pointing to a note after "do" which must be "re" in sequence order. Its perfectly reasonable for a non-musical person to interpret it this way.

I see your point from earlier, but do you now see my point?

What note comes after do?

I do, but I thought part of the definition of a musical scale was the notes are played in order.

It's pointing to re when it should be pointing to ti

Does anyone else have a hard time coming up with a set of context color variables when theming their app? Balancing flexibility with abstractness seems to be impossible. There must be a standard somewhere.

this is nice, every other time i've seen a date spoofer its just stubbing the constructor with a static value, but this seems to allow time to still tick which won't break things like charts.

I once got food poisoning during finals week at college and i am pretty sure it was the mcdonalds burger i ate that had been left out ~24 hours. Was a horrible week.

What they were saying is crypto is *better* for those cases than fiat, which is undeniable. They obviously weren't saying fiat isn't used for those.

Can someone tell me why in 2024 I need to use the terminal to open multiple instances of the calculator on macOS?

To be honest I've never been convinced of the superiority of anything blockchain and I'm prepared to wait decades to be vindicated.

Anti-prescriptivist? The correct word is descriptivist. 🫡

I once worked in healthcare and had an argument with my solution designer because she was saying an audit simply means they check we are following the procedures and I kept saying WE DEFINE THE PROCEDURES.

Figuring out that a component with a non-hyphenated name doesn't render but still renders it's children was definitely strange
