No, I get retiring numbers in general, but I think retiring Gretzky’s number across an entire league is ridiculous.

Rockies only struck out eight times but the offense was putrid tonight. No baserunners after the fourth inning. Had a RISP just once. Flailed in the 9th.

#Rockies, this would be a fabulous time to walk things off for the first time this season.
